I'm not sure they have rebranded them as The Rangers.

According to Wikipedia (not a 100% source obviously), apparently they are still named Rangers F.C.

Most new papers , sports broadcasters, fans. I even brought it up on the old 606 does it annoy you when they are refered to Glasgow Rangers and Glasgow Celtic, and a lot of Rangers fans didn't even know that they were just called Rangers.

Everyone uses hashtags now...

Think every club should just liquidate and shed their debt and start again as the same club. Wonder why they are not? Because they wont be the same club.

That's not a yawn at the debate by the way that's a yawn at how tiresome it is trying to get across the FACT that a Club and a Company are 2 separate entities which may or may not be linked. It's not really a difficult concept to grasp for those not blinded by bitterness.

Nice of you to acknowledge my maturity as well, you might grow up one day too Wink

Rangers where liquidated, that's why they where ejected from the SPL, a Newco Rangers where formed and subsequently voted into the Scottish Football League Division 3, clubs aren't demoted 4 divisions for changing a 'holding company'

Regardless of what Rangers fans (Oldco and Newco) want to promote, the fact of the matter is they where wound up and a new entity was formed

If Old Rangers is stripped of titles, other clubs will assume those titles I guess. If Florence Griffith-Joyner (who is dead) is ever found out to be the cheat that most people think she was, won't all her gold medals go to the runner ups?

Because it is only fair. Lance Armstrong is not competing but if he is found guilty he will get titles stripped. Same goes for Old Rangers.

RANGERS have completed the double signing of Francisco Sandaza and Emilson Cribari today.

Sandaza has long been linked with the club and finally put pen to paper on a three year deal today.

The Spanish striker is eligible to feature in tonight's clash with East Fife at Ibrox and is waiting to see what level of involvement Ally McCoist will give him.

Brazilian defender Emilson had trained with McCoist's squad on Monday after jetting in to Scotland at the weekend.

And the former Lazio and Udinese man has agreed a two-year deal with the 54 times Scottish champions.

We will have the first reaction from both players right here on rangers.co.uk soon.

KEVIN KYLE has made it a hat-trick of signings for Ally McCoist today as he followed Emilson Cribari and Fran Sandaza in joining the Gers.

The former Hearts man agreed a deal today after spending time training with McCoist's squad recently.

31-year-old Kyle has signed a one year contract after a little over a week as part of the Rangers squad at Murray Park.

The striker is hopeful his registration will be completed in time for him to go straight in to the squad for tonight's match with East Fife at Ibrox.

Looks a bit like The Rangers are going to be the Doncaster of Scottish football.
Signing players no one else wants, give them a chance to showcase and sell them on. Trouble is only the agents make money on those deals.

Interestingly the NHS Trust I work in is having trouble with a bus company called Countryliner who supply a transport service for staff and patients. Recently we had to charge staff and patients for the service because the price increase went up on the contract.

We had a meeting with them recently to find out why since increasing the cost for this service has yielded a crapper service, the answer? They are near broke because they invested money in Rangers!!!

Never heard anything like it picard
