What are the rules on foreigns? Can I edit my bid to go for a different player as I've spent a load of money on Walcott.

I took the decision on Moutinho as we seemed to miss him out. Said yes, the cash was there, and despite him not going to Spurs, I could see him going to Chelsea as they have CL football.

IMO he's bidding twice the player's worth and Malaga would never turn down that bid.

Re: Admin section
The bid from Spurs was intentionally low balling because of their money problems. They averted it for now because of the Cazorla and CL money.

Re: Admin section
I know Spurs were low balling, but that bid is a bid that Malaga simply would never refuse IMO. Ever player has his price.
And I do think he would move to Liverpool, I am with Trebs here.

Sneijder - no
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1155225/wesley-sneijder-commits-to-inter-milan?cc=5739
Even if it was a yes, would need £28m for me.

Re: Admin section
I would say a No to Sneijder as well for the lack of reasons and money.
And I am not sure on Juan, cos I think Inter would sell, but just a case of would he really want to go to West Ham. And I dont know

Re: Admin section
Where is the Arsenal manager even getting the money from to make any bid at present?
He has just over 6m in the kitty.
He cannot sell to lawyers ATM.
So surely he can't make these bids in the first place?

Re: Admin section
Just a note, are we saying no to Sneijder altogether or a no at the price he offered? Because if it's a no at the price, then we should have named the actual price in all fairness.

I think if he somehow raises £35m I dont think Inter would refuse that. Just a question of whether he would move or not tbh

Re: Admin section
I don't either, I could actually see him at Arsenal ala Bergkamp, he is just annoying me though.
And it may force him to part with Cazorla once lawyers come in this week you is better anyway.

Re: Admin section
Oscar is a little unclear on the price confirmed, several sites stated it was 25m Euros which works out as a lot less, I'd say 22m would get him at the time.

Re: Admin section
Season II.
All squads go to their current real life squads. Budgets will all also be reset with new budgets given for the new season.
If you have qualified in the top four, you get Champions League football next season. 5th to 7th and the cup winners (or finalists) get Europa League football. If both the cup finalists have European football already, then the eighth placed team will be given Europa League football. All of this is to be run by Treble. The bottom eight teams will be entered into the FA Cup, which will be run by GSC (TBC)
The bottom three teams will be relegated. Replacing them will be QPR, Sunderland and Wigan. The three relegated managers will get first picks on these teams. Also, managers can mix it up by being a new team for the new season, to keep their interest.
Foreign Transfers will be changed. (Some kind of transfer window?)
There are various roles which need to be done for the new season:
- Injuries
- Foreign Offers
- Tactics
- Releases
Thoughts?

Re: Admin section
I like most of that Trebs, however I think we should run a poll to see whether managers want to bring in new squads, or keep there own ones now.
Can I also ask if anybody will be about on Sunday to do results because I think I will be out for most of the day, and probably won't be back until 9 at night, as am going to Cambridge for the day to see some family. Sorry this has only come up now, but I have literally just found out
