Alright, I'll set up a post with an opinion poll
It was alright, I was just busy with Uni, work and other bits and bobs. Went out last night, if you follow me on twitter you'd have seen half the story

Done your injuries Trebs.
Just seen Pull's quit the Chelsea job. I don't mind taking over his team in a dual role but next week it's Chelsea v Stoke so it wouldn't work.

We'll try to find a manager first, if not then probably Marky, just for the rest of the season. Next season hopefully we'll have a big reorganisation and get this league in order.

I believe it should be 5m bonus time, and if you still want to run it, manager of the month, as we've just finished gameweek 12.

Re: Admin section
I wonder in RL if Neymar will now join one of the Spanish two.
1: He wouldn't be top dog, he'd be behind CR7 at Real & Messi at Barca for top billing.
2: Spain at present are in huge financial doo doo. Neither of the big two went out and spent much this summer especially compared to previous years.
3. The Beckham law will mean whatever wage he gets will be massively taxed, add to that the top rate of tax here is reportedly coming down and he can earn a fair bit more by coming to an English club.

Re: Admin section
That's not a reason surely?
Avoiding a calamity I'm in the CL, also 3 points ahead and a superior GD with 3 games remaining so to say the league has to wrapped up is a touch excessive especially for the 3rd week running Damiao is out and lo and behold my other striker!

Re: Admin section
I genuinely think Neymar will go to Spain eventually.
Not sure about Falcao though, for all I've heard about Athletico being in the toilet, they did hold onto him.

In the old league that was what we did. You, right now, have nothing to go on. If you win the league it's another matter though.

Re: Admin section
If it was reset, then you'd have the same bargaining position to buy players. I.e. winning the league, being relegated, etc. would stand. The only difference would be you lose the players.

Sorry Hero, if you win the league though, you will be able to attract a better quality of players. Not the very top though, that comes with winning the champions league

No to both
Falcao IF Tottenham win the league.
Huntelaar has had much bigger bids from other clubs rejected.

Re: Admin section
Despite the link about a reduced fee for Huntelaar, it wouldn't be right to let him move for a lot less than others have bid in the same season, so its a no.
Falcao I don't even think will move, so it'd be a no whether it was Spurs, Chelsea, Man U or Arsenal.

I think Falcao will go in RL in Jan. Atletico are seriously in the mire financially at present.

Re: Admin section
Then bid in January, or when a solid link to him moving is made. At the moment the best you have is speculation.

Re: Admin section
Isn't that what everyone has on 'possible' moves? Since when did we only ever get players who have then confirmed a move?
It's more than just speculation that UEFA have imposed a embargo on any Europa League money going to Atletico and its more than speculation that the club are over £500m in debt.

Re: Admin section
If Falcao left, he'd go to a bigger club. Tottenham are not a big club. If you win the league, it's a different story. But you'll just have to wait till then.

Re: Admin section
Hero, my recent Stoke dealings;
Maurice Edu - moved IRL
Michael Kightly - moved IRL
Kevin Mirallas - moved to the Prem and has a sell-on clause if I don't make European Football
Ricardo Carvalho - strongly linked to QPR when I signed him
Maynor Figueroa - only at Wigan IRL
Andy Drury - only at Ipswich IRL
Of those, all but Mirallas have either moved IRL or are/were moving to clubs smaller than Stoke. And with Mirallas, he might not even be my player at the end of the season.
All you have to compare with Falcao is how Llorente, Di Maria, Benzema etc moved unrealistically and two wrongs don't make a right.
