Who wins
Cleverly VS Braemer
Am looking to pu a four-fold(outright) bet on-Khan vs McCloskey, Pac vs Mosley, Froch vs Johnson and Cleverly vs Braemer.
Although i think cleverly will win, Cleverly vs Braemer is the only one that am not sure about so i want your opinion on that fight and who you guys think would win; dont need to comment just vote would do.
Thank you

Re: Cleverly VS Braemer
If Clev is sloppy he has every chance of getting KTFO, but Braehmer isn't particular special and can be outboxed
I think Clev wins via UD, possibly suffering a KD and a scary moment or 2 on the way

I don't know much about Braehmer, other than he's meant to be a complete tool!
I think Clev wins by UD, can't see Clev stopping him as to me he appears to lack power at the top level which may affect his career somewhat.

Valero's Conscience where do you get that idea that he 'lacks power'. He has stopped 5 out of his last 6 opponents.... He is only 22 as well, still time...

cleverly doesnt seem to be the most intelligent fighter in the ring, thats the oly thing that makes this fight interesting agaisnt an experienced fighter apart from that i think Clev has all the advantage

Re: Cleverly VS Braemer
Braehmer isn't that good Clev has looked good apart from his last fight. The change of opponent at the last minute didn't help though. Clev can be a bit to open at times but can't see Braehmer beating him. Braehmer isn't hard to hit but does have a decent chin. Clev by wide UD or late stoppage for me.

Re: Cleverly VS Braemer
I think Cleverly will win by a fairly comfortable UD.
The fact Braehmer was beaten by Mario Veit doesnt say much for his ability.
The LH division is pretty weak at the moment. Cleverly should bag his first world title in this fight.
However, I'm still not really sold on the young Welshmen. He has a decent skill set but is over-eagerness to please the crowds could be costly against better opponents.
I also find his lack of power at this level quite alarming. I wouldnt call him feather-fisted but there just doesnt really appear to be any snap or sting in his punches. He might have stopped 5 of his last 6 but I think that flatters him somewhat. Despite the stoppages, some of those men (Murat for example) didnt really appear to be physically hurt at any period during the fights.

Re: Cleverly VS Braemer
Cleverly wins if he fights intelligent and doesn't leave himself open to get hit,he seems very eager for the knockout which could be the wrong way of doing things.

Mario Veit beat Braehmer by MD they fought again and Braehmer knocked him out..

---------------------------------
Not sure how much longer Hopkins plans to continue for. I can't see him being a threat in a few years time.
I don't particular rate Pascal or Cloud. Good, solid fighters but nothing special. Both men required favourable judging to beat +40 year olds in Hopkins and Johnson.
Chad Dawson has the tools, but he lacks a consistant workrate and seems a bit lazy. I'll be curious to see how he recovers from his first loss.
I havent seen much of Shumenov.
Other than that, there isnt much else.
The fact Cleverly is ranked 5th (despite having not fought beyond Euro level) and Erdei (who is poor) is ranked 7th doesnt say much for the division overall.
If Lucian Bute moves up, than things might get a bit more interesting.

Yes, but Veit retired afterwards so was not exactly in his prime years during the 2nd match (if he ever had a prime).
He had also suffered a KO loss after his win against Braehmer which surely must have had some effect on him.
Anyway, if you're a good boxer, Veit isnt the type of guy you should be losing decisions against (regardless of the re-match result).

This is going to be PPV and I would actually pay for it as I'm a fan of Cleverly and also Groves vs DeGale promises to be a good fight.

Syllakh looks a better prospect than Cleverly.

Agree with that I was a big Despaigne fan I had seen him on ESPN a few times and the net but Syllakh looked a class above him which was very impressive. Looks like he would beat Clev.
