I am on a reconnaissance mission from 606

*knocks wall*......seems a sturdy enough structure.
Gonna have to put new wallpaper up and get sky installed.

I have only come to bagsy the big room at the end of the hall with the double bed and scenic views.

Looks like yous* are going to get an influx from the 606 massif*.
Good to be here, lets hope we can make this a nice home for us all.

yous* A derry term I have picked up
massif* A London term I have picked up

Alright there RB, welcome. 'fraid I've already claimed the big room with the double bed. As for the new wallpaper I suggest a green and gold Meath sort of motif. Gettin' a wee bit p1ssed aff with not606? Yous, is that more or less the same as "youse" er here?

Rebel
I thought he already had a tache of some sort.Paul is sound! Leave him alone. Anyway I should definitely have the biggest room since we have the most titles and yes Gaelic-Warrior green and gold wallpaper is perfect since you won't need it after July. And my posters will not include the great Galvanised but rather the likes of Mikey Sheehy, Maurice Fitz etc.

You can keep the Maurice Fitz posters, but the rest of them are getting vandalised.

If the most titles is the criteria for room sizes, then aka had better get behind me in the queue.

Keep the noise down, some of us are trying to sleep!

Welcome guys and thanks for joining thumbsup

Just a quick heads up that we can change the Irish Sports section to how you want it to look.

We can add the subsections for the various sports and add a pub thread for the all the banter stuff if you want one.

Just let us know what you want.
Ask and you shall receive!

Sorry lads, I've already claimed the big room, Meath's quality > Kerry's quantity. Aye your right about that colour scheme redtop, should go well with my posters of this year's royals with sam in september.

Hi Cari kiss RB means if you add cork's football and hurling titles together, then they've won more than the kingdom.

Splitting up the section would be a bad idea YI Man, and I think most of us would be against it, you could rename it though- "Gaelic Games or GAA" would be much better. Preferably the former. If more people come on here this summer it'd be good if you could move it onto the main boards rather than "other sports" too. Thanks thumbsup

Oh I see Gaelic Warrior. Very Happy

Agree on the set up as well. Just create a seperate Gaelic Games section - or perhaps call it GAA to avoid the usual childish posts.... Rolling Eyes

I welcome the childish posts myself.

Cari, you will have to have a separate dorm from the rest of us. we shall call it an annexe to the main house.

Since I've got the big room, she can share with me if she likes. Very Happy
We shouldn't be seeing many of those childish posts on here, as soon as someone alerts the mods (we're self modded on here, we'll have to nominate some), WUMS are usually deleted pretty quick.

Och Aye, great idea RB, we'll have an election campaign once all the regulars are on, We'll have nominations and a politically incorrect debate with all the dirty tricks and backhanders of the day, that way it's as democratic as possible. I'll probably not have enough time to be a mod, so I'll drop out the race and be the independent electoral overseer (ie, you lot can step on each others eyeballs and I'll be the referee). No coaltitions allowed though, I've had enough of that with laurel and hardy running things on this side of the water.

Gaelic Warrior will walk you beck to your shed when it's dark and we will all think he is such a chivalrous young man....and so will you. Till his real intentions become clear.

The rules are that ladies are allowed in the main house between the hours of 08:00 and 22:00 for the purposes of making tea and hang sangwidges, ironing for the morning an making sure we have washed behind our ears.

Of course I am a chivalrous young man and will only be doing the escorting back to the shed bit. Brogan and Cadogan need taken care of first, I'll do the chivalrous thing and challenge them to a dual......Those posters don't stand a chance!

Are you sure we should really have her doing mrs doyle jobs all day? I mean, we should have something a wee bit more masculine than tea and sangwidges on match days. 🍺
