Important End of Season information -- please read

STAR PLAYER BIDS ARE OPEN

Star Player bids will commence Wednesday (15th), and run to Friday (17th) at midnight, when bidding is closed. Who got who will be posted on Saturday all being well - and assuming it can't be done earlier. If you miss out initially, there will be a second round bidding process and you may make another bid on a player. All bids will be sealed and PM'd to Hero and sodhat. It should be made clear that you cannot make a big bid on a Star Player, and then not have the cash all at once. All money must be paid immediately, or you miss out. We aren't doing IOU's on it, and that applies to everyone.

To qualify for the second round you must have submitted a first round bid - you can't just wait and see what's left. If there are exceptional circumstances as to why you missed the deadline you may appeal to the runners, but these circumstances absolutely do not include "I was playing Ultimate Team for 4 days with the curtains closed."

Sign up now for the Euro Division Telegraph Fantasy Football League!

Not sure it's going to be a good season for you twist, Giroud and Hazard are both going to flop I think.

Finally feel my side is getting somewhere and have a couple of foreigns lined up. Just need a right back and I'm done.

Not THE best. But certainly world class and in the top five comfortably, probably rate Pique and Thiago Silva higher. Debatably Vidic but it depends how he starts the season.

I think Jose Mourinho has pulled a stroke of genius moving Ramos from right back to centre back. But imagine Ramos + Pique as your partnership at the centre of defence. That would be the best in the world. Who has Pique anyway?

Can I ask everyones opinion on how you rate players.
For example what bull has posted above.
Would you rate a Kompany + Pique partnership higher than a Ramos + Pique one?
How much do you take into consideration if the players are same nationality or play in the same division that they will play better with each other than say for example Kompany and Pique who play in different leagues and there is a language barrier between them which will hinder communication. Whereas Ramos and Pique know each other well as they have played together irl and speak the same language. In cherries words, would you rate players on these leagues like on Fifa Ultimate Team where team chemistry is very important?

I rate players higher if they play for the same country/club. But it's mainly whether they have playing styles that would complement each other. For example, Vidic and Ferdinand has one quicker, more intelligent defender and someone who wins the ball and sticks his body on the line. If you had something like Vidic and Terry I wouldn't rate it anywhere near because the players are too similar.
