I didn't think it was possible to trump the sheer ghastliness of Murray's 2011 trophy, but perhaps it is? Is this some famed local pottery because they look like a job lot from prizes from a coconut shy on the fair! Novak looking less than impressed with Murray's urn in the first photo

I am sure prior to 2011 the trophies were fairly unremarkable.

I think the idea is to try and design a trophy that Nadal won't want to bite.

They should make a trophy of a great big phallus, That would stop all of the trophy biting and kissing. You'd have to be careful how you held it too.
