Arnie!
Thought I would start a thread on everyones favourite action hero (figure of speech, i'm sure he isn't everyones favourite).
I happened to catch Kindergarten Cop over the weekend, I'd forgotten how enjoyable I found it. It got me thinking that Arnie has done some pretty good films and has had some great lines. I love Predator and Conan: The Barbarian but enjoy most of his films (except Jingle All The Way).
Some personal favourites lines of mine are:
Predator - When he has thrown a knife through the torso of a soldier and pinned him to a wall, he says "Stick around".
Commando - When he takes down Bennett by sticking a metal pipe through him. "Let off some steam, Bennett"
Classics!
What's your favourite Arnie film?
Favourite cheesy/classic line?
Are you pleased he has given up the politics to return to acting?
Cheers

Re: Arnie!
"Today we're going to play a new game: Who is my Daddy and what does he do?"
"What's the matter? CIA got you pushing too many pencils?"
"Get out"
"HERE is Sub-Zero - now PLAIN Zero!"
"You're a funny man Sully - I like you. That's why I'm going to kill you last"
After dropping Sully over the edge of a cliff, Rae Dawn Chong asks him "What did you do with Sully?" "Oh, I let him go".
Brilliant and full of Gorgonzola!

"You're not sending me to the cooler" has to be up there, are we not forgetting that 2 hour cinematic masterpiece that was Batman and Robin? From George Clooney and that nipple suit to the fact that Chris O'Donnell is a super actor it truely had it all. Arnie's one liners clearly made it into one of those films that will stand the test of time.

I'm still surpised this wasn't Oscar nominated. It's clearly far more superior to The Dark Knight.....

Re: Arnie!
One of my favourite film lines of all-time is in True Lies, but it's Tom Arnold who says it IIRC.
"Women eh. Can't live with 'em, can't kill 'em"
Classic.

Terminator 2 and Predator are easily his best films imo.
For fun factor throw in Commando to complete my top three.

Not the first Terminator?
The scene where Arnie jumped out of the plane was laughable in Commando but yes it was fun.

Re: Arnie!
Ok yeah if we are talking BEST films it would be Terminator 1 and 2 and Predator. But Commando still has to have a mention. Surely the best of his films in terms of one liners?!
Always liked the concept of Running Man. And Total Recall is a classic also.

Let off some steam Bennet coming in a close second. The most memorbale "I'll be back" wasn't all that popular with me, however I now accept it as his trademark. He's used it in Commando "Hey! I'll be back...BENNET." He also uses it in Expendables 2.
I love all of his movies, apart from the one where he is some FBI agent, I found that boring. Terminator 2 was my favourite childhood film. Since I've grown up I've gone off it due it being slightly cheesey and farfetched.
The best Arnie film is clearly, The Terminator. Way ahead of it's time.
