Terry Connor

Tucked away on one of the inside sports pages of today's paper I came across a one sentence snippet stating that Wolves' assistant manager (and, before that role, manager) Terry Connor has had his contract terminated with immediate effect after thirteen years with the club.

Not a football great but a decent man who deserved better from a once great club.

In fairness, he has done well to stay at Wolves that long. He has shown time and time again how clueless he is, and should have left when McCarthy got sacked.

Nice guy, but crap.

Scott - just seen your post. If Connor should have gone, I agree it should have been when McCarthy was shown the door - not circa six months later as an afterthought.

It really brings home that the Wolves Board didn't know what they were doing when they sacked McCarthy and almost certainly still don't now.
