I have been Titalating the house up ready for selling it , so nothing exciting

Maybe not exciting, but necessary. When are you hoping to get it on the market?

End of next month at the latest

Don't forget the boxes under the stairs and up in the attic.

Think we are going to need an army of removal vans

Maybe get a long haul container truck.

They are big trucks (name rings as bell... think they're here too) or normal removalists trucks?

They are the removal specialists ! or at least thats what it says in the advert

It should be no probs then. Just make sure the boxes are labelled for easy unpacking and you should be sweet.

Got a estate agent coming down on monday to value our house

Funny, lady downstairs had a valuer over today and had one ring me the other day. Hope it goes well for you both.

12 years this November

That's a fair old time. We've been here 13 years now and, even allowing for the recent drop in house prices, it's still worth twice what we paid. It's a nice cushion to have, we're fortunate.

We bought ours as a repossession so only paid £21 grand so we should get at least 5 times that even now

Wow, I've been here 12.5 years. What a coincidence. I was thinking of moving too but the market - even though a little down - is so overpriced. Same everywhere nice it seems.

Thats our problem even though we will make money , to get a nicer home we are looking at at least £170,000-£200,000

I've seen some of their houses round here. Sheesh! Whoever said money doesn't buy taste was spot on.

You only have to look at the interiors on some of those TV shows where they take 'an inside look' at your average sport star's 'homes'. There's nothing there mostly. Not a book in sight except for their own boring biography on some cheap looking coffee table (which they probably paid an arm and a leg for) most likely.

And you usually see some silly childish game console hooked up to a screen (that's the centre of their lives), a confused looking pet dog (with that expression on it's face: "get me out of here!") and some tacky artwork all in the wrong place. That's about it really.

Romanesque columns seem to be in vogue currently and pale pink marble...

And one of those family portraits were they are being blown with wind to give them that classy windswept look

You see some where the family is all dressed up in some contrived awkward looking arrangement.

Unlike us naturally photogenic types.

To true although i could crack lenses

Some people think those black & white ones look stylish but it doesn't necessarily mean it will make someone look better.

I just watched the last 20 minutes of Wigan v Leeds. Jeez that was tight! Hope Saints can do it, purely for a mate who is a big fan. Are you going to the final Kenny?

I tipped Wigan and Warrington. I don't mind if Saints win though. It's on live here about 3:30am.

It's at OT, looks like the Liverpool fan in Kenny outweighs the league fan
