St Helens is not far from Liverpool... south of the Mersey?
So Swanny, you follow St Helens, Sale, Lancs or Yorkshire? and Man C or Man U? Or not so much into following football?

St Helens is near Liverpool LB, about 15 miles away, but it's slightly north east, north of the Mersey.

I follow Sale first, more a union fan than a league one, but that's really down to an accident of geography. Nearest team to me when I decided to start going to games. I probably should have Sheffield Eagles as my league team but I've only been to a couple of league games so tend to support any Yorkshire team represented. I keep an eye out for St Helens because a friend is a big fan.

Not a football fan at all, I grew up in the 70's when football related violence was prevalent and it put me off! I grew up a couple of miles from Bramall Lane so I guess Sheffield United would be my team but I'm really not that interested in it, hate the amateur dramatics of the players

I sort of went off it too for over a decade or so but I still enjoy watching a good game every now and then.

I would rather visit Hell itself then step one foot into that stadium

You need to let it all out. Maybe see 'psyche' doctor (a nice lady one maybe?) just to talk things over and set some goals. No shame in doing that. I had to do that in late 2011, early 2012... it was a great help for me. Purge those demons!

One step at a time. See the doc tomorrow and ask him if can recommend anyone for you to see. You've got to somehow purge all the worrying thoughts out of your system and see some light somewhere. You agree?

Just feel like i was getting back to being able to do normal things again then it's another smack in the face

It happens to all of us mate, believe you me. Just got to ride out the storm and you'll find things will change for the better. Try to be strong-minded and patient and see the joy of even the little things in life. They all add up.

You wont. No one can predict the future but try not to prejudge it. Be relaxed and philosophical about whatever happens and share in your kid's joy. Be happy... make them & Mrs L happy and refuse to be brought down no matter what.

I know your right , just my head is in bits ....so much going round and round cant sleep just thinking about it all

Have you tried thinking of something else before you go to sleep? When I'm worried about something I purposely think of something nice and positive... even if it's pure fantasy

Tried everything , just when i finally nod off then the alarms going off to get the kids up for school

Dont drink coffee much at all ? although i do drink tea

I hate that whirring sound you get in your head when you're trying to get to sleep sometimes (usually after a big night out).
Too much brain activity I think. Maybe need to take up meditation.

I think once you sell the house and get settled into the new home things will change for the better mate.

My brother in law went to the Superleague Grand final on saturday as a guest of Adam Pearson and Shaun McCrea he had a great time mixing with all the club chairmen and players

Great stuff. It runs in your family with your Dad's and Uncle's connections with the sport.

My uncle was the match commisioner for the RFL aswell

I would buy Manly and boot out all those dodgy current people... and build them a new stadium up Warringah Road in North Narrabeen near where the rugby union 'Rats' play. (both codes would use it)

I would put FC out of business make them a feeder club for KR

That's a good point. Still you could just spend up on players of your choice and try and white-ant their team a bit with some 'publicity'

I think they have the edge at the minute but they are still going to way off the top 4 sides , they should do better then this season but wont win anything . As for us we need to targeting a top 6 finish and home advantage in the play offs although i think it maybe to big an ask

Still have to keep hoping that things will get better.

To be honest , i would rather we got everything sorted off the field and concentrate on bringing the home grown young players through before we go down the road of signing anymore big budget signings

I think we paid to much money for average players , bring the kids on and then bring in top quality rather then average
