Love this programme. Watched most of Project Dawn.

Have recorded sundays episode(although I see its on tonight).

First 2 episodes have ben quality.

Some new charachters in this season.

Charles Dance is in this series.

Looking set to be another great season.

I am officially sad ..........................the wife and kids say so

While bored i changed the ringtone on my phone to the theme song from this , so now everytime my phone rings i get disdainful looks off them

I was thinking of changing it back ..............until yesterday while out shopping in JD sports my phone rang ....well the wife and kids give me that look and start shaking their heads

But there was a guy out shopping with his family who looked at me nodded and just said "Strikeback " and smiled .


So I am not the only sad bloke around

Finally watched the final episode as I've been away almost 3 weeks.

Awesome final episode, perfect, and the Richmond sex scene almost made me shoot my bolt. Shelly Lukes is ridiculously hot. AND she retweeted me when I said as much!!

Melbourne-born actor Sullivan Stapleton, 36, has been injured in Thailand.
According to US media reports Stapleton, who was in Thailand filming his US television series Strike Back, was seriously injured while exploring Bangkok in his free time.
Details of the injury are not known but it is said to be serious enough that the producers of Strike Back have put filming on the series on hold for six months to allow him time to recover.

Because of the series high physical demands on Sullivan - he performs most of his own stunts, for example - they cannot resume filming until he is in peak physical condition.

A statement issued by Stapleton's publicist said the actor was "resting comfortably and on his way to a full recovery".
"We appreciate all of the well-wishes and support," the statement said.
A spokesman for Cinemax said the series would continue to film around him in Thailand but its second block of filming, in Hungary, would be delayed.
"We plan on resuming production in the [northern autumn]," the statement said.
"HBO/Cinemax, Sky and Left Bank Pictures all join in wishing Sullivan a full and speedy recovery."

Shame, hope he recovers quickly.

Got stuck into the action almost straight away.

Max Beesley was decent in it.

Being a big UFC fan, was amusing to see Michael Bisping make an appearance.

Yeah, you could watch it without having seen the others.

Not been a bad couple of episodes to start with.

seen first three episodes, not sure about this series, in comparison to the previous ones. still enjoyable, although not a massive fan of yakuza stuff or that May character. Not enough banging scenes either, if you know what I mean .

Yeah hasnt been the best series so far.

Will miss the show overall though.

easily the weakest season, for me. don't like michelle yeoh at all, just can't take her seriously enough. script been abit weak too, trying too hard with comedy parts & jokes. killing off richmond ahead of martinez was wrong on so many levels. I think the season has improved as it's gone to europe & the oppenheimer link, hopefully a good, action packed end.

Not a bad double header to finish off with.

Yeah, cracking last two episodes actually. Glad they survived too & was a nice way to finish things off.

Great finish to a slightly weak season.

As LiamB says, killing off Richmond early doors was v disappointing. However it's clear they wanted to culminate with the two lead protagonists winning out against all odds so needed to start the cull somewhere. Richmond dying gave them the easy out for Martinez.

Have liked the Locke character, powerful scene with his execution of Oppenheimer.

Strikeback - New series on Tuesday, October 31st Sky 1 9pm

Think I'll tune in, but without Scott & Stonebridge, I can't see this being a hit.

First episode wasn’t to bad.
Main two are certainly not Scott and Stonebridge.

Wyatt could be a good character though.

Westisbest, this series is shocking. The casting is beyond appalling. Yo can’t take Lowry seriously as the main villain, and they’ve even roped in Peter Firth, to play some Belarusian. It’s awful stuff.

Scott & Stonebridge, it ain’t.

Thought wyatt was ok.

Yeah great to see them back, even if for a small appearance.
Stonebridge with a knew haircut.

Overall poor series.
Previous ones were one of my all time favourite shows.

The Player with Stonebridge looks ok.
