Cardiff Blues vs Glasgow Warriors Sat 6th Oct 6:30pm
First topic message reminder :
Cardiff Blues vs Glasgow Warriors
When: Sat 6th October 6:30pm
Where: Cardiff Arms Park
Teams
Cardiff Blues: TBA
Glasgow Warriors: TBA
Warriors without DTH for 6 weeks, something that I'm sure will please the Blues fans on the board. Poor performances from both teams at the weekend and they'll be looking to make amends this week.

Won't be for long with performances like this and Ulster.
We have only won 1/3 home games this season, could be 1/4. Despite winning both our away games. The curse of CAP
Maybe the fans would prefer a ground share at the CCS with cardiff FC?

There you go RDW, Filisse is 2nd man in and penalised for not releasing in the tackle

In this case there are quite a few poor calls, especially at the breakdown, Glasgow are sealing off at every opportunity and the blues are being pinged for things like presenting our own ball.
Glasgow have the scrum with a bow on it but they have made a few mistakes there that has actually gave them posession, and the breakdown is glasgow plus 1.
Both teams are showing there is little between them but the scrum and the ref at present.
Aye and it's not improving...

Horne gets the penalty 3 - 15. Not a deserved penalty I'm afraid.

Looks like mr Davies got his big plod boots out and gave the team a kick up the backside at halftime.

Wowsers! Were Glasgow actually penalised there?
23-14 in Dublin.
3-15 here after 53 minutes. Halfapee kicks but it goes wide.

Great shot of two pretty young ladies swooning at the devilishly good looking (my wife's words not mine) Leigh Halfpenny.

True, Copeland doing better than Watts-Jones
We need Paterson back though.
Pretorious has yet to impress me like he did 2 years ago.
6. Paterson
7. Warburton
8. Copeland
Could work

Speaking of Halfapee, he's injured....nooooooooooo! Went for the ball, and got a shoulder in the face.
Another questionable decision by the very inexperienced ref.

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for the ref now, he's making lots of errors, both teams trying to take advantage and sadly it's just going against us, over and over.

O'Driscoll escapes for a try and Sexton lops over the conversion.
30-14 to Lions now. Surely that's game, set and thingy.

Very smart tactics now from glasgow, kick high and wait for errors, if they don't come they still have territory...

Ref resets when Glasgow are pushed back on their own ball, but when the Blues are he gives Glasgow possession.

The ref seems to have lost control of the scrums by the looks. It's delaying the game again.

You can't call use it then ping the blues...
this is getting silly now, depressing and silly!
Phil my boy, you better get that board up to protect you from the tongue whipping at full time again.

Flippin' heck. If it wasn't for the ref, I'd love to know what the score would've been. So much time wasted on scrums, and all points from penalties.

Weirdest thing is, when you look at the Cardiff team on paper/on screen, they should at least be a competent side.
On grass, they can play like an Under 11's tag rugby girls team. Only without the competitive attitude.
Is it the coaching? Complacency? Laziness?
Very odd.

Fairdo's Blues, they've gone for the corner instead of the sticks. Sensible choice when you're 3-18 down and haven't really got much more to lose.
