Be interesting to see how he gets on. And as the team are doing well, he may slot in nicely. Can't imagine he'll play a full game though

I actually don't think is a bad match for Tango Man to come back into as long as he's properly match fit. It's against one his former clubs at home. He'll be extra motivated.
He'll be up against Charlie who isn't the biggest lad or hardest tackler around.
None of Saracen's first choice backrowers are featuring in this match. No Saracens backrower is a pushover but the guys picked aren't likely to physically target him as much as Brown and Burger would.
Also quite a few of Saracens most dangerous players are unsurprisingly being rested for Edinburgh like Goode,Ashton,Brits,Joubert and Barritt.
This Saracens backline won't have the same defensive cohesiveness simply because they haven't played as much together.

I agree Beshocked (though I didn't think teams in the AV rested players )
Sorry couldn't resist!
This game should say a lot about how ready Henson is though, and although I agree with almost all you say, do you think that even though some of the 1st teamers aren't playing, the players picked will still target Henson for how he swanned in to and out of their club?

At least he's now in the right section so that Hersh won't get lost trying to find his own thread on him. Club Rugby

Shows that Welsh aren't going to attempt going toe to toe with the Sarries style of play. Whilst Gav's obviously a quality tactical kicker, Gordon Ross would be much more similar to the sarries style.
So yeah, my money's on a more attacking welsh side to try and counter the penalty machine that is Saracens.

Best of luck to him, think he'll be nowhere near where he was in 2005 but could still be a handy player and could surprise a few people

If Sarries loose, can we have one of those "did they throw it" threads because of the players they are resting ?

Re: Someone had to - HENSON is back.
Ye like HERSH got told this news in work, he has an Iphone app set up to track Hensons whereabouts.
His phone beeped, and Gavs inclusion has made his day, then he pops into his living room where the Gavarooni websites coroborate the Iphone alert, he picks up the Gav phone next to the Gav chair and alerts all his friends and family. Finally he logs onto his laptop (which has the initials GH on the back) clicks Gav off his screen saver and gets online to inform the world his hero is about to show himself onto the pitch once more.

Sarries, loose? They generally keep things pretty tight.
Now if they lose, maybe.
(Sorry LD, lose/loose is a pet peeve)

I think they are learning that they have to if they want to be competetive in the HC. So long as a team is in the top 4 they can thinkabout it - otherwise it gets riskier.
Back to Henson - horrible feeling that his presence will actually weaken LW as they have all been about the team collective.

That's what some of us have been saying all along. Leinster tend to be in the top 4, 3, 2 or even 1 in League - and therefore have always had the ability to 'think about' rotation. One competition isn't sacrificed to another, despite that being the eternal accusation placed before them.

What do leinster do this season after such a dismal start? What if they are still mid table come the latter stages of the league/HC?

Yes Mowgli - and as I said I worry that it will actually weaken LW.

Re: Someone had to - HENSON is back.
You are right because no Ross means 12-15 points...Sarries will kick and chase to 20 plus points but may see it as a chance to try and run into their opposition's 22 for the first time since 1865....either way none of it matters because sIR lord Darth Gav is back

Re: Someone had to - HENSON is back.
Ok I'll stay on subject...
So Sarries are a leading AP team who are resting players against a weaker AP team for the HC next week, is this correct option? And what would they do later in the season? lets also imagine they had a huge injury list and had a dismal start to the season...
Fly?

It is an enforced change Ross is injured.
