Will Henson feature in the Autumn Internationals?
Bring back Henson to Wales squad?
If fit and playing well, will Gatland bring back Henson to the AI's Wales training squad?
Henson was all set for a place in Wales' RWC 2011 squad before injury struck.
Until he is too old or too unfit I would always consider him a good wildcard option purely for him being so naturally talented and with a great distribution game and boot. Considering Henson hasn't played competitively for ages not to mention at 10 for almost a decade! He did remarkably well today vs Saracens in his 1st Aviva premiership game.
I see no reason why Henson can't be an option at 10 or 12 for Wales just like James Hook is. He has achieved success with Wales and has bags of experience and is still in great shape. Priestland's form is up and down, I still think Stephen Jones is good but he is getting on. Other than Hook who is never given a consistent run at 10 there is not a lot else.
I would go so far as to say that Henson has been the best goal kicker in Wales since Neil Jenkins retired. Even though Leigh Halfpenny is now the number 1 kicker there is nothing wrong with someone biting at his heels or taking any opportunities that may go his way. It can only be healthy.
I like Roberts & Scott Williams, but Wales are still lacking something in the 10/12 channel. I believe Henson still has a future with Wales providing he remains fit. Regardless of what club or league he's playing in. He must make the most of the next 2 or 3 year and prove the past 5 years have not been a waste.

I realy dont thnik that Henson will make the Wales team either now or the 6ns to be honest.
Yes he played well today. But it was his first game today, and how can you say he is good enough just on one game.

Give the man a break and let him play rugby for a while. Many accuse him of chasing after publicity but everytime he blinks and these pages are full of the possibilities of him either being back at the head of the Welsh dragon or on yet another final step into oblivion.
Let him play please - without the pressure.

Ohh God no, I don't want to have to see Hensons ugly mug on the side of the MS for another 3 months everytime I go to work again!

agree with HERSH. If he's playing well. His kicking would be an assett and his vision is probably second to none in the welsh game. Give him game time and see how he does. only then consider him for Wales.

I guess you could ask bring back Stephen Jones or Nicky Robinson too though. After all they both seem to be playing well

As you say Hersh - only if he's in good form for his club and country.
Though he'd have to be in some fantastic form...

Henson and Wilko could share a room together

They could invite Sheridan to stay as well, he's playing well.

What about Vickery? He could still do a job down south.

Re: Bring back Henson to Wales squad?
IF, IF, they do bring Henson back into the Wales squad. What position will he play ? 10? Are Wales that desperate for a 10?
He has played 1 game for his club.
Did he realy play that well that he will out play Priestland, Biggar, Tovey. I cannot think of any more to be honest, who have played all season for their club.
Surely he should get atleats 1 full season under his belt, to get himself back to full match fitness.

Can you add an option for "he should move to Leinster immediately as he seems to have a perfect personality match"?

He's a bad influence. Anyone who gets sparked out twice in one night after spending 14 days at a club has issues.
