I've gone with the picture thingy. The articles probably a bit long to copy out all the text, it's a full A4 side.

There might even be the odd free programme with limited features which will allow you to do the same. Other than that, I have no idea.
Has someone just hacked Windy's account?
I thought he was going to suggest handwritting it out with a quill.

Is it possible to enable topic owners to remove posts? I don't want to be a mod, but I do want to control my topic when it gets out of hand.

unfortunately not.
If we could give you that power, we would - software limitations I am afraid.
I would ask the mod of your section to help out if you want a thread to stay on topic.

It's been removed for the time being due to people telling very inappropriate jokes for the forum

Mods & Co
I have two PMs in my outbox which aren't going anywhere. One has been there for a couple of weeks now. None of my mailboxes are full.
Any ideas?
Thanks

They'll remain there until the recipient opens them, MPB.
Perhaps if he is online you could prompt him to check his inbox.

Re: Help - ask your questions here
Not a big thing, but I noticed the film section is called The Film Thread.
It's not a thread.
It makes no difference to my life what it's called but I thought maybe Hobo might want to change it.
Cheers.

You changed that quickly Hobo!
I just checked back, saw it was called Films and thought I was going mad.

Can anyone tell me where to find that ordering through Amazon thing that was floating about yesterday?
I've looked but can't seem to find it.
Thank you.

Do I look like I'm panicing? I was just wondering which "tomorrow" you were talking about - but then I got a horrid mental image of the Hobonator singing the song "tomorrow" from Little Orphan Annie and I started to get Herbert Lom-like twitches which were quite disturbing until David Tails reminded me about the breathing into a paper bag trick

How come in the golf section I can see a global announcement about the Amazon shop being (re)opened, yet when I click on the announcement it says it doesn't exist?

Re: Help - ask your questions here
Just a general question. I access this site from both my home PC and my Blackberry. Home PC, no problem posting. However, on the odd occasion, when I'm using my Blackberry, I go to post something (having been signed in for ages) and suddenly get a message from "Onlineguardian.net" claiming my message is suspicious and I'm blocked. Then I have to verify myself which takes ages on a Blackberry to unblock it. Why is this, even though I save the site? Also, what happens with this information I give to Onlineguardian?

Re: Help - ask your questions here
Ha no you're right there! I'm not a techie person, so I haven't a clue how it works. I'm assuming it's something to do with perhaps a child control or something on Blackberry rather than this site (this is the only forum type of thing I use).

Re: Help - ask your questions here
you need to save it or disable it so it doesn't block it due to according to them we don't exist
It's basically thinking we're the equivalent of a porn site so it's blocking it as it's like a child proof to stop them going where they shouldn't

I can still get through, just asks for verification, so it's no big deal. I just wondered what it was.

Cari can you think of any words that would trigger it ? Using short form ie Pathetic Pthtc is often all that's needed to trigger it.

How do I change my username and the email address linked to the account?
The reason being I am linking several american football sites I use to the same username and the email address.
