Nothing about "classic Audley". He never had a chance. Terrific display of punch power and accuracy by Price. Perhaps I was wrong about him. Chin still a doubt though.

Price-Chisora next? Let's see how quick Price can KO Derek.

They're not showing Audley at all, who is still on the deck. Hope he's not in a bad way.

Can't see too many getting to his chin though, not without taking some huge punches

Good to see Audley is OK. He still looked terrified of taking a punch though, and when you're a boxer, that is a pretty large obstacle.

Well, i am not sure what to make of that. Some serious power but not really a test.
I wonder if Audley will retire now.

Glad to hear he's ok. On the subject of him looking nervous does anyone else think he puts to much pressure on himself in these situations? He had nothing to lose coming in to this fight but heaped the pressure on with his constant talk of recovering his lost dreams and goals.

No real surprise.
Audley again looked like a rabbit caught in the headlights, Price has knockout power, we haven't learnt anything new!
Can't believe that anyone on here thought it would last beyond 3 - wish I'd put some money on it as I predicted a R1 KO.

Price v Chisora prior to xmas would be perfect for me.
Trouble is, none of the so called 'gate keepers' are going to want a sniff at Price. Can see him having to go straight from domestic to K2 or Haye.

Haye stopped Audley but he wasn't out like that
Chisora seems a logical choice but chisora needs to get a couple wins or it won't really mean anything
Maloney claims there a £500k offer to Fury on the interview, beats the £100k fury offered if its true

Don't think Chisora will be prepared just yet on the back of 4 losses in 5. Give Chisora a couple of confidence boosting wins and let them get it on.

Maloney talk a load a BS. Bottom line is that the TV companies have to come to an agreement before anything can happen. They should have taken the £100k on offer when Team Fury made it.

Well he's 40 years old and not getting better. Perspective needed. Devastating power from Price. No doubt that he can hit and KO anyone he lands on. But its easy beating up on overmatched opponents. That being said, he'd KO all of K2's recent opponents with the exception of Haye.

Re: Price Harrison and Degale Live fight thread
You can't knock Audley for that. He was standing his ground. Seemed to want it. But he got caught with a decent right. Took it, but the finish was devastating. Audley was spark out before the last flush punch in the mouth.
Well done Az for admitting Price looks a good promise. IMO his last 3 fights have been very impressive for the stage in his career he's at.
Chis won't happen. Fury is a wide boy and will avoid him. IMO Fury is a similar talent but just is too busy boasting and playing the tinker hardman. Whilst Price has just got his head down.
I think Euro title or an American name would be good right now.

Why would he not KO Haye Az? It's not as if Haye has a jaw on him?

You seriously believe the BS that Fury came out with? Why did he drop the belt quicker than a hot cake? Scared pure & simple.
Fury is running scared, probably even faster after watching tonight, he'll just carry on taking bollox on Twit(ter) claiming Price is ducking him when everyone with some degree of common sense knows the truth.

He'd have to land on Haye to KO him. If he lands he will. Haye will land first I reckon. Haye has speed and quick reflexes.

Wlad couldnt and I doubt Haye is going to fight any different against price than wlad.

Re: Price Harrison and Degale Live fight thread
KC, I believe it is more to do with TV companies that anything else. C5 had just signed up Fury and probably wanted the fight on their channel. Ditto Sky. If they were both Sky of C5 fighters it would have happened. And at that stage, Fury was probably a notch above Price. Not too sure now.

Agreed - was clearly more prepared to stay in range and engage than usual (though the bar on that score is pretty low). Looked like he came to fight and have a go, but that first big shot completely scrambled his senses.
The finish was just brutal and the reaction of the crowd lacked class IMO. It's not like he quit at the first sign of trouble or took a dive is it?!!
Just glad the fella's not seriously hurt and he needs to call it quits now for the sake of his health.
As for Price, he has the sort of chilling power that gives him a chance against absolutely anybody. Fury makes a smart move by avoiding him like the plague. Skelton is a pointless fight that will end much the same way as tonight. I'd like to see Price in with Helenius next if they can get the fight in Britain.

Price should fight Helenius next - that would be a decent test - although I think Price would knock him out too, if the Chisora fight is any measure of his talent.

Haye would fight the same against Price as he did against Wlad, the only difference being that Price wouldn't be as cautious as Wlad & would ko Haye (IMHO)

On the back of beating Audley who Price knew would be a neo pacifist? That's a leap of faith.

This guy that is fighting De Gale looks like the backside has dropped out of his pants since he got into the ring.
Also looks quite skinny, hope JDG can put on a good show here.

Re: Price Harrison and Degale Live fight thread
Feel sorry for Audley, and to be fair he's had an 'ok' career and one that most of the guys down our local boxing gyms (who've never got above area level) would take in a heart beat.
Olympic gold
EBU champ
Knocks out a guy in the last round with one healthy arm
But my god I like the look of Price. Fury has made it pretty clear to most people with a brain he wants zero to do with Price, which is a shame. But at some point the money will be right and hopefully it's when they're both big names in the heavyweight scene.
