Re: Tigers vs Ospreys - HEC Round 2
you're right actually having seen the replay. my bad
who was the bloke tackling Flood? seemed to stand off a bit which allowed the Leicester wing to attack the space...
I think we shall have to agree to disagree on the scrum, it looked to me to be collapsing because Bevvington wasn't getting his bind in.

There we go, I actually think the Os shouldve been pinged at that scrum and Poite gives it to them?????

The offside call was against Jones on the 10m line to the right, yet Poite is giving Leicester it central just out the 22?

That was kind of poite to move the penalty 10m closer to the posts

It wasn't crossing because they were retreating nathan, whereas the Leicester player was behind the player to start.

bizarre I'll give you that
I actually thought Tipuric should have been pinged for not releasing though, which was about where he gave the penalty.

Tipuric was the guy who shouldve gained a pen had it not been an advantage, thats why they went back.

Couldnt see that scrum but Poite giving nobody benefit of the doubt and just awarding the pen again.

one senses Poite is getting frustrated with the scrum, just blowing penalty after penalty...

if he's pinged them that much already he's not going to give them the benefit of doubt.

Ospreys are being idiots here, they need to sort it out else they will get another player in the bin.

He should, we're taught that what has happened previously, and reputations mean nothing and each scrum is it's own seperate entity!
He seems to have his back up now and is disliking anything Ospreys!

Leicester now on a roll. Playing with aggression, pursuit of ball and winning the critical encounters.
How many Tigers players playing today have held that particular trophy?
i don't understand what that has to do with anything? Do you think a club changes when each new player comes in or a player leaves?
So it makes Pot Hales lowlife dig irrelevant then. Which was my point.

it's simple though: if the ref is shouting "leave it white, leave it!" and they don't then they'll be pinged (whether he's right or not is irrelevant).

Re: Tigers vs Ospreys - HEC Round 2
Your spot on Chelsea.
Cole couldve been pinged for fighting for the ball while on his knees/side, but he wasn't and the Ospreys are just playing like a team who are fighting the ref instead of working him onside.
Walking Flood into kicking distance was harsh on Hibbards flick of the ball, but when a refs not onside you have to be whiter than white.
Oh and Poite cant be blamed for a pathetic lineout

Ashley Beck if you want a try from nowhere, or based on current form, from Biggars kicking.
