Yes. I want to play only negative football now.

2. Cup this week. With the return of Cherries to the league, do you think Marky's running is a step up or step down from the old league ?

1 . 3rd league game of the season, so we are fast approaching halfway. Have your ambitions changed from the start of the season?
The cute triangle passing game proved its superiority to Olly's hoof ball rough housing this week and with that we see ourselves joint top. The plan at the beginning of the season was to cement ourselves as a top side, the plan now is to attempt to prove we can win this.

Cup this week. With the return of Cherries to the league, do you think
Marky's running is a step up or step down from the old league ?
The new cup is great, however with Cherries back there is no reason he can't officiate over any games involving Marky.

3. The last week saw the return of
CF and Cherries (and Hero ). Which other former manager would you most
like to see return and why?
TwisT, its already been too long!

4. If the Premier League Player of the Year for 2012/13 season was chosen today, who would win it?

Going a bit left field but I've been really impressed with Luis Suarez and Edin Dzeko. Or perhaps Mark Clattenberg, he single handidly allowed United to beat Chelsea.

Just think of it like the Champions League. The Quarter Finals will have the two best Spanish teams, the two best German teams, the two best Italian teams and the two best English teams. What's not "the best vs the best" about that?

2. More transfer activity this week - what deal has caught your eye?

Viva buying Rafael van der Vaart and then selling him for just 2.3% profit less than a week later, in a deal that included some money then and some money the following week. Viva the Teflon Don might think nothing can stick to him, but that deal is like mud on his reputation. It'll stick.

3. Now Di Matteo has been the first PL manager to be sacked, who is next?

Whoever replaces him, because clearly no-one is good enough for the job.

4. Russ has sadly departed the league. What would be your messages to him as he leaves?

No comment. I can't put on a public forum what I think of him for leaving us in the lurch. WHY RUSS, WHY? WAS IT CHERRIES? WE CAN GET RID OF HIM INSTEAD! COME BACK!!!!!!!

Week 6 Questions

1. With a week left of the cup group stages, do you fancy your chances of getting through?
I do, we are in a strong position going into the last group game and also with a goal difference advantage, avoiding a 2 or more goal defeat could well be enough to put us through. Obviously we play to win, but it's good to know we aren't in a "win or bust" situation like many others are.

2. More transfer activity this week - what deal has caught your eye?
To be honest I haven't paid too much attention to other deals, I know Olly did well to get Barzagli but I also think we did well to sign Victor Ruiz for a bargain £7m.

3. Now Di Matteo has been the first PL manager to be sacked, who is next?
Mark Hughes. QPR wont improve their form and he'll get the boot in December.

4. Russ has sadly departed the league. What would be your messages to him as he leaves?
Russell, you're a bottler. Quitting the league before we finally meet in a match. Shame on you.

5. Would you go to a specialist salon that focuses on styling your pubic region? If yes, we have just the place...
No, I prefer to use the DIY method.

1. Not really, need a win in the last game and up against Gregers who beat me in the first week of the league.
2. I was surprised that Asamoah hadn’t been snapped up so made a move prior to the Juve v Chelsea game, think his value will rocket on TM when they next do changes.
3. Hughes at QPR is the obvious one
4. Thanks for taking part and hope once things have quietened down he makes a return.
5. My Miniature Heroes are in no need of a BaJazzle cheers, they already emit a luminous glow akin to a night light.

I don't know. There's a few under pressure, McDermott and Adkins should be safe despite what people say and I can see Mark Hughes getting a vote of confidence.

We need to avoid defeat against Hero to get through and after beating him in the league we are quietly confident. Having said that coming top of the group is the objective.

It's all to play for with a deciding game between me and Zidane. Avoiding defeat would be enough but that's not the Brescia mentality and we will be going all out for the win in hope that Atalanta lose and we top the group.

2. More transfer activity this week - what deal has caught your eye?

I like Barzagli and think he was a good signing, although the amount that Olly spent shocked me a bit and I think a bit too much tbh. Based on that price, the Bonucci signing looks like a great value deal as well.

3. Now Di Matteo has been the first PL manager to be sacked, who is next?

Hughes is the obvious one and I think they might be forced into acting sooner rather than later in order to try and get Arry before he heads off to Ukraine.

Gregers, its not 6WF, where every new person was 75% likely to be either me, Hero or Hobo! Russell is my brother in law who is a massive Football Manager fan, so when we needed a manager on here I convinced him to join the site.

As for Brighton tickets, the same mate as before has got four corporate tickets for Brighton v Bolton this Saturday and there's four of us going, but if anyone drops out I'll mention you, seeing as you joined us before

I should be going to Crewe v Crawley but as I'm busy until 1pm Saturday I can't go to that anyway.

Well Mr Gilhaus, your back in the league, how do you feel about the challenge ahead?

Please call me Fan, I have inherited quite a good squad, but quite small in numbers, I willbe looking to get the best out of these lads so they can prove to me they are capable of doing well. I am really looking forward to this, I have been away for quite some time.

You have very quickly begun your prossess of getting your own players in, did you not trust the guys you sold?

Kyriakos, Ryan and Thiago had to go am afraid, the previous manager over spent and left the club with only £150,00, which cant really get you a good night out these days, I have brought in over £25m as the chairman told me I had to raise my own funds. Bringing in Neustaedter and Rakitsky is good business as both bring alot of European experience with them.

You still have money to spend, where are you looking to strengthen?

Depends, like said i have a strong xi but the squad is very small, I will not divulge where we need to strengthen but we do need some good home grown talent into the squad.

What type of football will you bring to Bayern?

Well I dont know what they are used to but I promise we will strive to put on a show and play good attacking football.

Have you any messages for rival managers?

La Chorizo without question, and I'm really glad for Gregers too, well deserved.

Cazorla from Nando or Isco from Gregers

Yes, Rome wasn't built in a day, perserve and it will prevail. Far too many teams want quick fixes and fail to look at the long game.

Week 7

1. Now we're getting to the business end of the season, who do you think are the strongest sides in the respective leagues?

I think Gregers certainly has a strong side, and I like Azzy's team too, as well as his approach to tactics.

2. If you could pick a single player from another side in the league for yourself, who would you take?

I would probably take Cazorla too, or someone like him to slot in at AM.

3. Liverpool. Brendan. Is it working, and are they right to practice patience while he beds his style in? Is he the right man?

I half believe he is the right man, but he needs to be picking up more points now. No point in having patience if you're slipping into a battle at the bottom. It will take time, and as a leader of a club, I think he fits the bill.

4. Would you rather have a really hard punch, or a really strong jaw?

Strong jaw all day long. Never been very aggressive, and I'd love the look on peoples faces when I can take their best shots without flinching. I could purposely antagonise people to show off how many punches in the face I could take.

2. If you could pick a single player from another side in the league for yourself, who would you take? Jakub Blaszykowski, with him on the RW he would complete my attacking line up.

3. Liverpool. Brendan. Is it working, and are they right to practice patience while he beds his style in? Is he the right man? No, he is just carrying them at the moment. He wont achieve anything great there & will eventually lose his job from "Fan Pressure" due to lack of delivering.

4. Would you rather have a really hard punch, or a really strong jaw? Strong Jaw. IF I was in the boxing profession its fine being quick & able to throw punches but if you cant take them ultimately you will fail.

We have a couple of weak teams in the league but the rest of the teams are capable of taking points of each other. I'm looking forward to seeing tactics near the end of the season, who is the bottler and who is the champ.

If you asked me this questions yesterday I would have said Pirlo but at the moment I would love to have Hummels.

I'll try to be fair as possible, I can see it working but the main thing is the results and at the end of the day its a results business. I think they should give Brendan a chance to impose his way of playing the right man to stablise them but not the right man to take them to the top 4 level.

Hard punch all day, how will you be able to hit me when you can't see me.

Marco Verratti, just to slot him in alongside Benat. Although I should probably get a better defence, gk and back up striker before buying more midfielders!

I think so, I actually really like the team he's putting together.

Afro and Gregers stand out in the Fan league, but no-one sticks out in the Cherries league, not even my side.

Probably Hummels.

Of course he's not the right man. He looks nothing like Kenny Dalglish.

Bunga Bunga FC manager has come out with a shocking rant in which he had some interesting things to say:

"I AM THE BEST MANAGER IN THIS LEAGUE. WHO IS SODHAT? WHO IS HERO? WHO IS VIVA? WHO IS HERO? I AM OLLY, I AM THE BEST, I WILL ALWAYS BE THE BEST, AND I WILL WIN THE LEAGUE BY BREAKING ALL YOUR PLAYERS LEGS. SUCK IT."

not really but wouldnt mind the opportunity to buy more than two foreign players per week , maybe one per day Tues - Fri = 4?

This week should be the last week, because if we go into the week after it's too close to Christmas.

I thought it highlighted the inept refereeing in this country, but nothing was made of it because ultimately it didn't stop Man U winning.

All four look good, but No Respek v Under Brescia sticks out.

I'd say keep going until weekend before Xmas, then return first week of January.

No reason for it to be changed, it is a good way to invest in players if you can sell them on for profit.

Favourite song out of both was Tupac's Ghetto Gospel featuring Elton John, so Tupac because I'm gangsta.

No reason not to try technology now. It was a tricky call because the Reading player blocked the officials and so the ball was tough to locate. RVP could have finished better too, he just blasted it where the defender was going.

I can't even remember my own match. I think I have Marky. That will be a good match.

Stop over Christmas because people won't be on here much, at least not many. I am out of the country until the New Year so I guess we can begin around 7th January when most are back at work for definite.

Not personally. This way can't be quibbled.

It happens but I do agree the media make more of decisions that go in Utds favour.

Although you get some like Zaha and Sterling whose real value outweighs their TM value this way cannot be argued and isn't up to interpretation

It wasn't over the line.

Not going to be much voting on 24th, so I would make the last game the weekend of 15th/16th and back on 7th. Up to the runners really.

I would change it so that we rank every player in order of their rating, take the TM for the top player. The top player you get that TM value, and then each person gets 95% of the player above. or just don't change it.

Dissapointed and sickened not because of the refs mistake but by fans of other clubs who are quick to point out United gaining from poor refereeing but ignore it when United are victim of it.

8 of the best teams left so every game for me is tie of the round.

I'd say the last match should be played on the 15th get voting and results done by 18th, last three days should be fun days where we do christmas quizzes and wear christmas jumpers, league closes from 21st December 2012 - 7th Jaunary 2013.

No I think this is the fairest way and causes the least arguments.

Yes. It's not fair as it is as some players are rated so wrongly by TM.
