This has to be the most one goat race so far.
Bryan has been sensational, and that is from someone who didn't believe he was all that a year ago. I thought he was boring and lacking in any character. Boy has that changed.

Daniel Bryan by a country mile. He is the best thing in wrestling for me right now, and he is in with a good shout at winning this whole thing.

On what basis do you think this Tops?
I think he's had a dire year and since Wrestlemania has lost all of the momentum he generated during the previous year, when he looked genuinely on the cusp of the top tier of WWE. Now he looks a long way off it.

It's not been his best year but he held a midcard title going into wrestlemania and actually had a match there which does not always happen to midcarders even though he was squashed. He is slowly starting to build again through Sandow who I think will become the leader of the two in the tag team

Re: V2 WWC 2012 Round 1 Group 4
D.Bry for me, he's had a sensational year, his time in the WWE as a whole has been extremely eventful even if not everyone liked certain aspects of his storylines, the guy has been brilliant, horrible way to lose the title though, he had no right to recover from being squashed like that but the fans totally bought into him and he like a true expert fed off them brilliantly.
His feud with CM Punk has been a highlight, it's a shame AJ became the focal point of that feud as those two in a WWE World Title match was amazing to see, the whole anger management thing with Kane was brilliant, as soon as Kane walked into that first meeting with AmDrag it was pure Gold, I love the chemistry between the two, they hate each other but they're also fiercely loyal if ones in trouble, great psychology, as soon as Bryan appears at the ramp and does the 'stay calm' gesture it cracks me up.
I think he's a strong contender for this entire tournament

Goat face is on the crest of a wave right now, he is flying, everything he's put into this character is paying off, it’s great to watch and the crowd’s reaction is always one of the best of the night, couple that with the fact that he is one of the most technically gifted in ring performers and I can only see him going from strength to strength in the coming months. I also think he will get another world title run before mania if he continues to get the kind of reaction he is generating right now.

Bryan here without a doubt, in a pretty week group but would vote for him against pretty much anybody at the moment, except maybe Punk

I remember that, I kept saying have patience and that Danielson was really good but WWE were just not using him correctly. How glad am I that I was proved right.

Basically they're just making a mockery of the tournament due to kicks in an attempt to put one over me which I think is a shame.
Ambrose deserved a place in the tournament for his performances albeit in the developmental division but clearly his feud with Regal was quality and the hype he is generating is one for one that's never appeared in any of the 3 main Feds has never been seen before.

Voted for Daniel Bryan. After losing the championship in 18 seconds at WrestleMania I did fear for the bearded one. His work in and out of the ring (anger management) has been first class. I think the success of the anger management skits took everyone by surprise that he was able to carry it off.

I think all the hype is dead Hero.
A few months back sure, there was a real buzz around him. Now I only hear you saying anything about him.
Cheers Mtothe. I don't think I'll need to campaign this round. I'm sure he's done enough this year to get through round 1, as long as he's not against something stupid like Punk and Bully Ray.

It's died down certainly but I do still have faith that WWE are firmly behind a push as and when he's brought onto the roster.

Re: V2 WWC 2012 Round 1 Group 4
I voted for Bryan, as for the reasons above. He's shown how great he can be in the ring, how good he can be on the microphone and has managed to swing me towards liking this Team Hell No thing which I hated at first.
Lethal is beginning to have a good turn now though, but unfortunately it's too little, too late and as for Ambrose, he had a big buzz at the start of the year and then since then has had a pretty good feud with Regal and killed off his chances to have one with Foley, so I'd say Lethal deserved to go through ahead of him.

Finlay is a legend.
Just because Caeser's pet isn't getting love all of a sudden the contest is a sham.
Seriously, Hero, do you actually believe he will win? Or would get passed the first round in any group?

Of course he isn't going to win, but in the same respect the ABA brigade is for me quite a snub in the face to the effort MtotheC is putting into the competition by the Finlay vote.

Many could argue that your crusade to get him in and amending the Mason Ryan poll is a snub to the effort he puts in.
I think the reality is that Ambrose has or had potential. This thing isn't about potential, it's about what you've achieved in the last 12 months, and basically, he's achieved nothing. I could go on Twitter and slate Foley. Doesn't mean i'm the next best thing in wrestling.
You've put him on this pedestal, it's not everybody elses fault if he falls from a great height.

Re: V2 WWC 2012 Round 1 Group 4
Bryan by a monumental margin.
The guy is utterly awesome at everything he does. The character is quality and the comedy value reminds me of how Kurt Angle was in his early WWE years.
I think Bryan will be a major player in years to come for WWE. His in-ring skills, mic skills and timing are excellent.
I could see him as either a comedy or a serious character and I think that is what makes him so good. I hope the storyline with Kane carries on for a fair while yet though, because it is the best thing on Raw for years.

I have put him a pedestal as I think he is the next big thing in wrestling and I have no qualms over stating that. In the past twelve months whilst Id have loved to have seen him join the roster he has had the 30m match with Punk, a rivalry with Rollins for the FCW Heavyweight title and his long feud with Regal. Whilst certainly it could have been better he certainly deserves to get through a guy who's role is now one of a backstage producer.

nearly 12 months ago in round 1 group two of last years WWC Cody Rhodes notched up a massive 39 votes which totalled 72% of the overall vote, what a difference a year makes when 32 votes have been cast by 14:30 and he's only got 3 votes
