Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
Hello
Some of you might be aware of a website called 606 controlled by the BBC, we had quite a few sports gaming games including a Rugby one called Euro Rugby League.
As 606 has now closed down because of the BBC, we have now relocated this game to the 606v2 website, and it has vacancies. If you are young, love Rugby and love playing online games this could well be your thing.
https://www.606v2.com/t3659p150-euro-...omepage#127561
All the information is in that forum, just sign up and ask the gaming creator in Pullthestrings for any help you may require.
We would love to fill up the vacancies if possible, and some of the people who play the game are asking elsewhere but I thought what better place than to try here on one of the best Rugby forums going.
The teams available for this online game are Clermont, Northampton Saints and Toulon. Of course as it's an online game you can sign up any player available, those three teams have very good players so im sure it will be exciting if anybody decides to join up.
Hopefully this thread won't be a complete waste, probably will be but fingers crossed some genuine youngsters who love Rugby pop over to the above link and see what it is all about.
Thank you
http://www.therugbyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?22842-ERL-Season-4-game-needs-you!
Also I signed up especially just to post that so please be grateful.

Thanks for the cash injection, really livened it all up here yesterday and assume that others like Prop, Driver will be spending today as well.
Also, it has completely saved Clermont, they now have 22 fit players, so thats great news for the league

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
Hello
Is it possible that I could re join this game, I thought the lack of activity was strange and this game could be on the downward spiral but indeed not. Hours after I left, I see everyone was active lol.
Is it possible pullthestrings that I could re join with Toulon. I just thought it was very quiet, but I know the reason's for that now.
If you would allow me that would be great, it will also leave you looking for just two new people instead of three, it's only a one number gap but it could be extremley hard to find three new faces.
Thank you

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
Gloucesterbear, I personally would be happy to have you back. BUT, we need commitment in this league.
You have to appreciate that there will be times when its quiet, especially when cash is low. Unfortunately, that conincided with your arrival. But as you can see, over the last 2/3 days it has picked up to the normal level again. I did try and explain that when you left, that there would be a cash bonus at the start of the month!

That comment by you bathite is rather helpful, I will be commited to the league now I know why it was quiet in the first place. It's nice to see some action, and I believe I may have come in at a dull period but now I see what pullthestrings has done and what you have said, im more than keen now to get Toulon out of the bottom.
Thank you bathite

There is my Toulon page if pullthestrings decides to let me back in, no changes to alter apart from the budget so willing to get back in full swing in the next couple of hours.
This website is going a bit slow this afternoon so might take a couple of hours break, all players can be bidded for apart from Guildford.

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
Depends what you want. I have bid for Kahui already though, as i needed a 13. Otherwise I would have gone for De Jongh, as I have said already, had a cracking game at the weekend, winning away in NZ, in the absence of Fourie and De Villiers, he stepped up.
De Jongh has the ability to play 12 and 13, which is invaluable. Personally i would partner De Jongh with Evans, Davies great benchman, just a bit off form at the moment.

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
Any one else like to follow on from inthefastlane, like I said not quite sure who is rated.
Horne - Started the season off on fire, but I think he is currently injured.
Olivier - Has always showed signs of promise, but not really a big gun at centre but has done well in the past month.
De Jongh - Can play 12 and 13, but has been medicore for the Stormers this season.
Kahui - Probably the best of the bunch, has had his critics but Bathite has bidded for him and im not keen on over bidding him.
Ellison - Good player looked pretty good for Hurricanes but has moved to Japan, and would only probably be good as back-up.
Do people agree or just do 1-5 from the best to the worst if that is easier.
Thank you

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
I would also throw in:
Flutey: Gives 10 cover, better option than Biggar IMO
Payne: Gives 13 and 15 cover, allowing Poit to move to 12 or wing and drop visser
Masi: Cover at 11-15
King: Great option at 13
Stanley: All black capped, comfortable at 12 or 13.

A draft im not overly fussed not my decision if you want one or not.
I wouldn't mind one it gets the activity up, but then again you will basically be getting players for free which isn't quite right.

He has been looking very ominous though, he literally has an all round game which will help SA a lot.

Yeah, not convinced by the likes of Kankowski, Burger, Alberts so Brussow will be key.

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
Kankowski had potential just didn't build upon it. Alberts is another good option as he covers all of the positions much like Kank, but I reckon Alberts is more physical, Kank loves the open wide spaces for his pace.
Don't rule Burger out, He has been immense for Stormers. He is one helluva a ball carrying option and the physical type of OS. But with Smith being out wouldn;t be suprised in seeing a Burger--Spies--Brussow as that is the closest thing to Smith they have in workrate.
Spies, a few years ago was a machine. But everyone as always has found a way to nullify him and his game. He needs the flankers to do a lot of work for him to be at his best. The only thing is, off the top of my head only Vermualen has made a decent enough assault on his SA shirt, but wouldn;t be suprised if he was swapped for him.
*Breathe!*

3.04 in the morning
Will there be a round of outside bids soon?
I haven't had any yet and don't know how they work, so it would be good to see how it is done. Not my decision though but if possible could they happen soon, I have scammed through the rules and see I have to depart a player so that would be Sackey, seems rather exciting lol.
Thank you
