Donnolly is on a different planet to Awful Wyn Jones, most overated player in the NH.

ha! only pulling your leg!
seriously though, what has happened to donnelly? injured? not making the highlanders team, no longer a sure thing for the WC squad, especially with the run that Hoeata is on, will struggle to get game time in. Will the 3Ns be too soon for Hoeata though?

Not sure, Donnolly has struggled a bit since Whitelock took his AB jersey and is living off an amazing 3N last year a little. Take him over Wyn Joke anytime though.

I give you fat but he's always been big and thats never stopped him playing a full 8- minutes at international level, I remeber watching his first game thinking that that fat git won't last 30 minutes!! I was proved wrong!
and he's' far from Lazy, he's like a mini CauCAu hahahha
mate seriously he's a problem for any defenders to deal with and a great finisher. I would have him rated highly.

This season he's been shocking and ratings in this league reflect that. Mortlock has been playing well. Bast isnt in the French squad which I must admit with ML doesnt mean much as he is mental but he doesnt deserve to be.

Re: Euro Rugby League Season 4™ Homepage
Largely agree with most of that Fastlane
Would probably have Moody, Nyanga, Wallace and maybe Louw ahead of Bonnaire @ 7. Bonnaire @ 6, fine.
Roberts 6th? Think he is hugely overrated to be honest, would have him top 20.
Hook at 13 is a huge no no for me, so very surprised to see him at 3 and ABOVE BOD!!!!!!!
Good to see Alberts getting top 10 recognition, few of you were doubting him when i bought him

Don't like Louw, Moody, Nyanga or Wallace though.
I like Roberts
I didnt know which category to put Hook, hopefully he has a full season in one position. I think he is a quality player.

agree on roberts as he' snot performed since the lions for me where he was outstanding.
and as for leiveramont - don't get me started on him. Leaving out Basts might have something to do with the injury he had, he's only comoing back to form at end of season. And as for leaving out Chabal who has had an amazing season begs belife, also as he;s a talisman for htem and lifts the team! From the bench though obvioulsy!
yeah defo put moody up there with Louw, alberts as well

Not doubting hook's ability, i really rate him, but at 10 or 12. Real shame that
10. Jones
11. Williams
12. Hook
13. Shanklin
14. Roberts/Halfpenny
15. Byrne
never worked out, I would rate all of those players individually and as a team it has everything, with no one messed around in the wrong position
The future for Hook is ten though i think. Just need to sort out the centres. I don't mind Roberts at 12, not 13 and not convinced by Davies as yet

Bast on form should be in the squad and Chabal should certainly be there on merit for his last season and for his ability to lift the crowd and the team!
dont g=forget Henson if he hits any sort of form he will walk into the side.

Seeming that the original chat was about Hook, that was a pretty critical part, come on keep up!
That team with henson was successful, but the last three years have been mediocre, but in the team i suggested all those players would have been available and its a good lineup, but injury and messing positions around have wrecked it!

Alright keep your pants on!
I'm slowly catching up, had an exam this morning so I'm trying to unwind.
I agree that was probably the best lineup, but key issues and descisions were avoided or the wrong choice was made. And some key injuries.

Calm down lads but I agree with 207 for once, Basteraud is fat and lazy. Fat people in centre positions don't do very well, all about skill and muscle take a look at Sonny B the definition of a strong athletic beast of a centre. Bast just has rolls rolling off his stomach.

blogs again your talking s h i t e - bast is a formidable opponent. Bannahan is a big guy playing center and doing well. Look at caucau - he's past it and fat, but has pace & skill and is still scoring and making amazing runs. . . . . when he's not dropping the ball.
an on form Bastareaud is a danger to any defence in the world. SCIENCE FACT!

Good efforts on the list fella. FH is off though...Evans above Cooper and Steyn. You can't be a top 3 FH if you can't kick your goals. Steyn is pretty average these days.
Wilko & Sexton above Tin Duck and Donald should never be in any top 10.

Like I said couldn't think towards the end, if you have better share it
I really like Todd even though he hasn't played many games, fitting into a Crusaders side in place of McCaw of all players, like a duck to water fits the bill for me. Don't rate George Smith.
Yes Wilkinson overall is a better player but I prefer Toby all the way, but I prefer Sexton over Toby weird but true.
