V2 WWC 2012 Round 1 Group 13
Despite yesterday's group being one of the weakest in terms of talent or achievement over the last 12 months it was one of the closest votes yet. Finishing the day off in top stop and qualifying as group winner was the worlds strongest man Mark Henry with 10 votes and also through to round 2 as joint runners up Roderick Strong and Primo who notched 7 votes each.
Next up is group 13 containing 3 former world champions and England's finest.
Please vote for the wrestler you believe has generated the best work in the last 12 months
As always please leave a comment as to why you voted
The top two will progress into round 2

Not a big fan of Orton who I think has been getting worse since about 2009, this year is probably the worst year he's had since breaking into the main event.
Sting is past it for me, I don't think he should be wrestling as much as he is. The fact that he is involved in the competition while the likes of Undertaker and Triple H aren't shows you the problem, he should be wrestling less these days.
I went for Barrett who I like, he's got charisma, has that stiff style in the ring which looks genuinely painful and for me just has a lot of the qualities I want to see in a wrestler. It's just surprising that he's still not become world champion.

I'm not sold on Barrett yet, I'm not sure he's ready for a world title as seems to be the consensus on here. He needs a bigger push, which I'm sure he would grab with two hands.
I went for Orton. I haven't seen enough TNA to go with the others, and Orton has been quietly efficient this year.

I went for Wade Barrett because he did something this year that I found far cooler than anything any other wrestler has done, and was my mark out moment of the year when I noticed it... He got a Manic Street Preachers tattoo!
Culture, Alienation, Boredom & Despair!
Also, from some angles he looks like Jack Whitehall, which humours me.

MVP, this year has been some of his best work in the WWE.

Another tough group, with a number of wrestlers that would have walked yesterdays. Went for Sting by default. HoF, world title and always in the top stories. Dissapointing year by Randys standards (although most of the roster in both companies would kill to have had his cards for the year) and Wade was injured for the majority.

A group of big names but none have had a great 12 months! Went with Sting, he's been quite enjoyable to watch

Randy Orton for me.
I know people don't really like him but the fact of the matter is he always puts on entertaining matches and is always a key person to have on the ppv card.
For instance matches against Kane, Dolph Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio have always been very good even though they havant had much build up or importance to the card.

MVP for me, had some class matches in Japan this year
Sting, Barrett and Abyss have had very few matches this year so that rules them out, Hernandez is only just back from OVW, Albeit looking good so far since his return, it has been hard to make a real judgement on him. then theres orton, who has had an ok year with a bit of a break in the middle, but he bores me to death and like richards pulls out virtually the same match each time I see him.

Barrett for me, Orton is so dull as a face, Sting is just past it, I don't find him interesting any more sadly.
Much stronger group then yesterday mind.

I went for Randy and that is despite finding him soooo dull at the moment. I don't watch enough TNA to comment on their three, nor Japanese action and, frankly, Barrett has been back for five minutes and hasn't exactly got me interested either.
