JAMES HASKELL???
Any body know if he is going to get cited for the tackle that he made yesterday?
I thought it was an accident to be honest.

Come on, where did you see this mentioned? It wasn't from the mouth of commentary obviously, you'd have to watch the game for that.

How exactly did these constant accusations that majesticimperialman doesn't watch rugby get started, and is there any chance they could stop sometime soon?

Then how do you implicate it was an accident? It seems as if you told us that from your own perspective.

His constant attempt at poor wummery and constant attempt at regurgitating what somebody has already written (albeit in gibberish). And seeing as you asked nicely, yes I'm sure I could stop.

Obviously MI meant that the potential citing was mentioned in the paper.

...and all I meant was that it's frustrating to go on new threads and find that they've just turned into rival spats, usually to do with England vs Wales.

It said and i quote.
James Haskell will learn today whether he faces charges of foul play. which could rule Him out of the autumn openener against FIJI.
So have heared any thing or not?

Re: JAMES HASKELL???
He's received a level 1 citing
If the Citing Officer assesses that a player committed an act of foul play which did not satisfy the Red Card Test but that the incident should be brought to his attention he may issue a written warning (known as a ‘Level 1 citing’). In these circumstances the RFU Head of Discipline shall communicate to the club and player by way of a letter or email, indicating that the act was detected, stating that no further action is intended on this occasion but warning the player as to his future conduct.

Good. I strongly suggest you do.

Ridiculous, the tackle on Hargreaves was an accident. Hargreaves dipped into the tackle and it was a clash of heads. Haskell attempted to wrap the arms and the shoulder came in at chest height. It was just an unfortunate accident.

Haskell has a good reputation as a clean player.
Will he get a shot at the England backrow this autumn?

He's certainly mellowed. I remember his pathetic forearm smash on Rodney(?) during the New Zealand game in England when we had 4 yellows. It was in a maul and a completely pointless attempt to imprint 'brand Haskell' on a kiwi (it was embossed on arm pads). Since then he seems to have grown up, at least on the pitch ("Aussy kiss" and taking the urine out of the Leicester players during the world cup for being boring, i.e. not being dicks)

It was a poor attempt at a tackle. It deserved the penalty which the ref gave.
Does it deserve a citing? Probably not no.
There are two extremes - the people who think it wasn't even a penalty and those who think it was a red card offence.

It was a poor attempt at a tackle but at the same time he doesn't actually commit an offence. The shoulder hits the chest and the arms are wrapping. The clash of heads was accidental and not illegal.
