Re: LV= Anglo Welsh Cup Round 1
Saracens 19-15 Leicester Tigers
Don’t see an awful lot between the front 5s and neither side will really get on top at the set piece. Tigers have a bit more experience in the back row but great form for Sarries levels it out. Not a lot between the halfbacks. JOC the outstanding player in midfield but don’t see an awful lot between the combos. Again the back 3 are tight. More from Sarries to come on from the bench and see their front 5 having a good go in the last quarter. Sarries at home should win this in the last 10 mintutes.
London Irish 24-21 Sale Sharks
Irish will get the better of the scrum in this one with a meaty front 5. Although Pocock is lacking form Irish have that bit more quality in the back row and see them getting the ascendancy in the pack battle. See nothing between the halfbacks and the back 3 but a better balance to the Irish midfield unit currently. Good impact from both benches. Irish pack to give James the platform he needs to get the win.
London Welsh 17-15 Exeter Chiefs
Nothing between the scrums but see Chiefs struggling against Borthwick at the lineout. Not an awful lot between the back rows and neither side will get an advantage. At halfback Chiefs shade it with Humps in some very good form. But Hensons boot can take advantage of the lineout. Don’t see much between the midfields but Chiefs shade the back 3. More impact for Welsh from the bench. Tough game to call. Home advantage and impact from the bench see Welsh shade it.

Re: LV= Anglo Welsh Cup Round 1
Saints 22 - Quins 24
Nothing to separate the front 5s/scrums here, and edge to Quins in the lock pairing. I prefer Quins' back row but with injuries taken into account they are very close too. HBs go to Quins, Centres to Saints and Back 3 just goes to Quins. However, Saints have home advantage, and Quins the bench so I see a narrow win to Quins mostly due to the form of Heathcote and some quick young backs who can take advantage of the sun.
Irish 19 - 15 Sale
Front 3 to London Irish, second row to Sale, just. Back row goes to Irish (which looks fantastic for this level of game), HBs even, CEntres to Irish with a partnership I like though there is nothing wrong with Sale's, back 3 to Irish (good balance of pace and power). Both teams can offer a lot of power off the bench particularly in the pack, but I think on starting 15s Irish take this one especially at home, though Sale's pack and directness will make things hard.
Welsh 18 - 12 Exeter
Edge to Welsh in the scrums, with an excellent replacement front row too. An edge in the second row too, but more even in the back row and the breakdown. I think Welsh will win the set piece though. Henson's form is good so evens in the HBs. Exeter have an excellent back 3, but Welsh win in the centres, where their pairing is young but one that I just think would work pretty well. With home advantage too, I can only see Welsh winning this one.

Re: LV= Anglo Welsh Cup Round 1
Cardiff 14-22 Wasps
Ospreys 26-23 Gloucester
Saints 24-26 Quins
Really good game this one. See Saints nudging the scrum but the pack on a whole is pretty even with Quins getting a good advantage on the flanks. Burgess is the key player in the half backs and he'll get joy around the fringes. Saints have a bit more in the centres but Quins will get upper hand in the back 3 and seal a good win.
Bath 34-15 Newport
Worcester 30-20 Scarlets
Irish 29-24 Sale
Another tight game. Irish have a little more in scrum but fancy Sale to dominate lineout. Backrow very much to Irish with Burger lacking form. It's tight in the backs but Sale miss JD as their driving force and Irish will win this one.
Welsh 21-17 Exeter
A little bit more in the Welsh pack will see them get a bit of hold in the forwards. Again not a whole lot in the backlines but Welsh being at home and with Henson getting a little bit of form should have enough to get the win under their belts, good game.

Re: LV= Anglo Welsh Cup Round 1
Cardiff 12 London Wasps 20.
Ospreys 12 Gloucester 15
Better form in Glaws side with Robson/Burns ripping up trees.
Saracens 12 Leicester Tigers 11
Saracens get the nudge up front with Mullen give Sinklair problems but the gap between Corbs and Brookes is bigger so the scrums are not totally one sided. Backs wise Tigers 9/10/12 could cause some serious damage with front foot ball and have a bit more outside to score tries with. Saracens 9/10 has a nice balance to it with Allen and Tomkins solid in D but not most inspiring on attack. Home advantage swings it.
Bath 30 Dragons 12
Worcester 27 Scarlets 12
London Irish 27 Sale Sharks 21
Irish going to power in the front 5 and Gaskell is a weekness at 5 for Sharks. Irish dominating allows Messam and Guest to get Irish on the front foot. Brock James on fire for clermount along with Regan King . More form and dominace up front see a comftable win for the Irish.
London Welsh 20 Exeter Chiefs 17
Welsh do well here with a solid set piece with Borthwick best on show in the lineout , Swinson is in pretty decent nick for Glasgow aswell. Henson has been solid for Welsh in real life and his boot will put them in the right areas. Form of Ihump keeps things close.

Re: LV= Anglo Welsh Cup Round 1
I think it's 0.5 extra a win so: 22-20 becomes 22.5-20.
You then add all the prediction scores for the team together and divide It by the number of people predicting so again for example:
22.5-20
19.5-18
Makes a score of: 21-19
Think that's right.

It's an average of scores so added points divided by predictions made. Then 0.5 added one the end for each win.

Front row goes to the home side, with the away team lacking fitness to last the full 80, with an ageing trio and nothing convincing on the bench to replace them. Conversely, Sharman and Waller are good back ups, with Sharman in good form for Bath and I've been impressed by Haywood. Second and back rows goes to Quins though. Although Croft and Brossouw are injured, there is no real ball winning option in the Saints back row. I'm not a fan of Dowson either. Half backs go to Quins as well, with Heathcote having a blinder on Saturday, kicking 100% from the tee as well. Some big collisions in the centres, not much between them. Back three probably edged to Quins, but double Lindsay Hague is an error. Just enough for Quins in key positions of 6-10
TBF Double Lindsay Hague was my error because I was trying to correct Driver's error of putting Stuart in twice! I changed it after you posted this

No worries, was only a little note, didn't make any difference. Still preferrered QUins back three and team overall for the win
