Why can't people just shut up and let the players do their talking on the pitch?

As a rule, using a feather is kinky. Using the whole chicken is peverse.

Both scenarios perfectly normal in liberal cosmopolitan Europe Biltong.
I'll bet the Aussies loved getting spanked in Paris. London is next, where Goode will blow them all away on Saturday, after a spot of Aussie domination up front (sorry oh dear)

England should really win however really unnecessary to make such comments before the match.

Well, as I see myself as a decent fellow, I wasn't going to go there.Alex_Germany wrote:Biltong wrote:Yeah, I can see two scenario's here, not sure which is perverse and which is kinky.

Which he didin't actually say. His comments regarding Australia were "It will be tight against the Aussies. We will be tested a lot more but that is the challenge for everyone". I don't think he can be held accountable for journalists piecing different parts of an interview about different things together until they come up with titles they like.

Parts of this thread show why journos invent headlines like this, they know a lot of people will be drawn to and riled by them without really reading them very carefully (or at all). Those people are probably the same that wade into threads like this without reading what people have written before them.

Actually, I believe that in some circles one scenario would be enough...
