If not Farrell then Goode?
No, I am not suggesting that Alex (or andy) should play at 10.
However board wisdom dictates that should Owen Farrell noit be fit for the AIs (or indeed even if he is) then either Ford or Cipriani will play at 10. both however are prone to shocking days with the boot. We have seen this from both in the last fortnight. So if either play do we need to have an additional kicker in the team?
Thus if Farrell is out does that mean we have to play Alex Goode at 15?

I wouldnt want to replace Brown at 15 purely because Goode can kick well.

No. I like Alex Goode but this season his place kicking hasn't been up to scratch.
Last season he had the highest % in the AP but not now.
Just like 36 I haven't seen Goode's "playmaking" for England.
Perhaps Lancaster should look at Myler?

If & it is potentially a big if, Slade comes in at centre then he would be another kicking option.

Geordie, no, just BURNed him instead.
PS: I always liked Burns and well ok, he was ready for a move, to build his confidence after the collective crap season Glaws had. Ironically he has jumped in behind an injured and retreating Tigers pack this season, so his confidence has not exactly been helped so far.

Re: If not Farrell then Goode?
I got the impression that he was doing OK, especially after last year, but given the Tigers current situation and the competition with Williams its still early days.
The form flyhalves have to be Ford and Cipriani though. Ford for obvious reasons but Cipriani seems to have been getting decent writeups even when Sale have been getting beaten.

Cippers was brilliant for Sale at Kingsholm. Man of match we all said.
Burns later, was a bit ghostlike, fluffed some clearances and his manager spared him the place kicking duties in front of his old crowd. Tigers depleted pack did not help the case.
