Warburton Should be Cited for the Tip Tackle on Whitelock
First topic message reminder :
Who is the Welsh player at 10:53 perpetrating the tip tackle on Whitelock, and do you think the judiciary should throw the book at him for his foul, cowardly, illegal act?
I also notice Aaron Cruden being lifted beyond horizontal and dropped on his back, hmm...let me name and shame these thugs so that we may all join in a chorus condemning them.
Update: Identity confirmed as Warburton. It's difficult to see because he tip tackles Whitelock LONG after the ball is gone.
1. The tackle is late : the tackler goes low and lifts from the legs, even though the ball is clearly gone:
2. He continues to lift the player until he is completely off the ground:
3. He then pivots the player beyond horizontal in the air.
4. He drives him into the ground from height, such that he lands on his back/shoulders (bottom left):
This is now almost out of shot, the clock shows how late this is in comparison to the pass.
Open and shut case for an 8 week ban, right?

Or you could stick around and make a decent point.
The tackle is
(a) late
(b) a tip-tackle by the IRB definition
8 week suspension seems fair, possibly with some extras since he's a repeat offender.

Bluesman the last point you made was your utter convinction that NZ were "There for the taking" and that Wales would win.
So, erm, yeah...

He was committed so....yeah, he was just finishing off a good tackle. Not many Welsh players have been banned for tip-tackles, only Warbs in the RWC I believe. I think more NZ boys are going to be watching from the stands for foul play after the last few weeks.

awop, I'm not taunting you, I was highlighting the more simplistic elements of your fractured and needy personality.
The fact that you feel that you are surrounded by a "mass of bleeting (sic) sheep" is a chapter of Freudian innuendo in it's own right, I'd have a lash at it myself, but it's too massive to dive into here so I'll leave that one to the experts.
Warburton will have no case to answer.
If you had even the tiniest shred of decency you'd spare your fellow Kiwis from your own tortured path of imbecillic denial in the face of overwhelming evidence.
Having said that, I'm sure Hore was quite proud of his performance too, it didn't seem to affect his game, did it?

Warburton for one game for the same tackle as ten players were not reprimanded for in three games preceding the Wales vs France semi final.

Which is probably true OB, but this is my point.
It's fundamentally unjust that ABs are being made the subject of a media led witch hunt whilst offenders from other countries are walking free...

You do realise that apart from it not being a tip tackle its also not Sam Warburton who makes the tackle!

It's a late tip tackle. Is it not Warburton? Who is it then?

I have heard rumours of the kiwi team being exiled from international rugby and that Argentina aren't joining the RC but more replacing NZ.

Bluesman, I'm never going to trust information from you again. Last time out you told me NZ were "there for the taking" and that wales would win.

You have been quick to point the finger so i will leave you work it out yourself but Warburton wears white addidas boots and has 7 on his back so it certainly isnt him.

I wasnt that impressed with NZ to be honest, I expected a lot more from them. I mean come on, Wales are dire atm. We lost to a poor Argentina, and Samoa who were something like 5 ranking places below us. We managed to score more tries against NZ than we did against Sam and Arg. They were too much for a poor Wales, but I honestly think England will be licking their lips, they are overdue for their once a decade win over the Blacks.

It was I awop, I cannot tell a lie.
Seriously, you're a total mug awop, you think I taunt you?
You beg for it, you positively get down on your bended knees and ask for a full on shoe in the gob, if only I had the time, I could help you... and I'd get banned for at least a month.
Wetter.
