We will look to play an expansive brand of rugby, and use are top quality 10,12,13 axis to our full advantage.
Cruden to stand flat, and use JDv2 to get over the gain line who will attempt to offload to Joseph.
Wingers to come of wings and look for work.
JMF Lobbe, Crane, Garvey, Maestri and Botha represents a strong carrying pack. We will look to use these to get momentum and negate threat of Armitage.
We will look to run when it is on, and not get drawn into a battle of aerial ping pong.
If lineout is struggling we will bring on Gaskell, but we beleive JMF, Maestri and Garvey can do enough to secure our own ball.

Re: Amlin Challenge Cup Round 4
Exeter Chiefs 15-21 Sale Sharks
Sale stronger in the front 5 and see them winning the scrum battle and getting around the park more. Lobbe the outstanding backrower but Chiefs with more form at 7 & 8 levels the backrow up. Halfbacks and midfield a step up to Sale but not much difference out wide. More impact late on for Sale as well. Chiefs perharps prioritising other competitions after last weeks result.
Perpignan 12-17 Harlequins
Rough time for Quins at the scrum until the benches come into play. More quality on the flanks for Quins though and they will get some joy here. Halfbacks aren’t the most awe inspiring but Quins are a world apart in this one out wide and at 13 and should pick up a good win in France.
Worcester 20-14 Bayonne
Bench seals the win in this one.
Cammi Rugby Calvisano 9-41 Saracens
Some good quality in the backs and fantastic bench options see Sarries walk away with this one.
London Welsh 23-6 Grenoble
Solid pack should give the Welsh backline the platform to score a try or two and pick up the win. Stronger halfbacks and Welsh could have been looking at a big big win.

Exeter 14-16 Sale
Sale centres and front 5 will get them across the gainline here.
Perpignan 12-24 Quins
Quins stronger all over and like the outside backs.
Worcester 24-20 Bayonne
Impact bench takes it.
Calvisano 8-42 Sarries
Sarries have too much.
Welsh 20-12 Grenoble
Welsh front 5 will take control.

Re: Amlin Challenge Cup Round 4
Exeter Chiefs vs Sale Sharks
Exeter 18 - 25 Sale
Front row to Sale, obviously the scrum too. Line out very close though I give the second row to Sale. Backrow just about evens out in general and I think Sale nick the breakdown too. Definite advantage to Sale at 9/10 and at centre but the back 3 is very close. Sale also provided tactics and this overrules home advantage and gets them a vital away win. Think they offer more on the bench too. Outbully Exeter and get too much momentum to stop. EDIT: both teams OK, no change
P2 Perpignan V Harlequins
Perpignan 12 - 20 Harlequins
Beefy pack from Perpignan but Quins can match and beat it. Pretty close in every regard there except the flanks and breakdown where Robshaw and Croft will have a field day. Then Quins are better in every position in the backs. Combined with good ball, I can see only one result, and just about enough for 4 tries too. EDIT: Quins appear to break the rules, margin of victory diminished
P3 Worcester vs Bayonne
Worcester 27 - 19 Bayonne
Close front 5s but back row to Wuss and they will have fun at the lineout too. Ford will take advantage of this and the good, tried and tested centre combo should make headway to give Worcester a decent lead at 60 mins which their impressive bench will cement. EDIT: team fine, no change
London Welsh vs. Grenoble
Welsh 25 - 16 Grenoble
Welsh have the advantage across the pack and in each set piece. Grenoble probably win the HB battle but the Welsh backline outside is certainly better than theirs and Welsh can bring a better HB combo if they need it. EDIT: team fine, no change

Re: Amlin Challenge Cup Round 4
Chiefs - Sale
Perpignan 14 - 24 Quins
Would be a close one in real life, but with Quins great additions in this game, I can't see it being that close. There's too much in the Quins back row and 11-15, so they score 3 tries to the French's 1. There's possibly more on the Quins bench as well.
Worcs 17 - 11 Bayonne
Calvisano 8 - 27 Sarries
Welsh 24 - 16 Grenoble

Re: Amlin Challenge Cup Round 4
Exeter Chiefs 18 - 24 Sale Sharks
Exter pack are strong, but a bit of extra class from Sharks pack along with power, add the extra firepower outwide Sharks will nick this away from home.
Perpignan 17 - 21 Harlequins
Quins will get a bit of beating up front, but the dangerous backline and big bench will rescue a win away from home.
Worcester Warriors 23 - 19 Bayonne
Bayonne not the team they once were, close until the bench for Warriors come on to secure the result.
Calvisano 12 - 45 Saracens
Even this young Sarries side will walk this, they look very good for the future!

Exeter 12 Sale 15
Sale have a bit more stardust about them and are class above in most positions with Horwill the only real Chiefs player better than his opposite man.
