The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Edinburgh
First topic message reminder :
Hello and welcome to the Virtual Rugby Pub, a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The pub has made its way to Hopetoun House, Edinburgh - where the Management Team for the 2013 British & Irish Lions tour party to Australia was announced.
“This is the next chapter in the 2013 tour story," said tour manager Andy Irvine.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no tampering with the pictures of Warren Gatland,
Andy Farrell, Shaun Edwards, Kiwi Pete's Grandfather, Rava, Rodders, Andy Irvine, Graham Rowntree, Dr James Robson,
Paul Stridgeon, Kip Keino, Baggage Master Patrick O’Reilly and Lawyer Max Duthie above the bar.

I just remembered that I can borrow a mate's saw bench. Any ladies in who can suggest a good hand held Hoover?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Edinburgh
Could someone provide me with a detailed set of instructions on how to upload or share photographs? We opened at 00:01 this morning and there was still a cue outside to get it half an hour later. A friend took a photo which just has to be shared. We are one of the top 10 m&s stores in the UK and Sunday at 1 in the afternoon had already been utterly apocalyptic. Hopefully she's quietened down now as I head in.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub, Edinburgh
It's dead simple Willser - even I can do it.
Get a free photobucket account, upload a picture to your photobucket album and it's automatically assigned a URL. Cut and paste the URL into your post and Bob's your uncle.
Don't forget to wrap it in the spoiler brackets though, else a mod will kill your favourite pet.
I've got so much to do today, get canvas from art shop, fresh veg and salad from farm shop, birthday cake from Morissons, booze from Mac's, take hostess trolley and presents to sister-in-laws, presents to mother-in-laws, get to mates for 4.00pm for pork butties and drinks, pick mother up and get back home... I'd be better off at work!
Let's be careful out there today people, it's going to be intense.

Gee I don't know, Glas...
In serious mode for a while, why not look into a local health spa/beauticians etc. there aren't many women out there who don't like to play Cleopatra every once in a while.
You could buy her a pampering package and make it a +1 so she can share it with her bessie?
You have your Dyson fall-back, so it's maybe worth a look?

Serious set back - manflu. Feeling Poopie. Mrs gone for last minute food shop. Supposed to be making breakfast. Best plan is to stay in bed and ask her if she wouldn't mind waiting until the January sales for a present. Ill let you know how I get on, I can hear the car in the yard now. Right, going to pretend to be sleeping, see you later...

Afternoon pub
Back home after my brief visit over yonder. Just need to brave the shops one last time but only to get wine, flowers and bread. In that order of importance!
Then it's time for nice things like wrapping presents and making shortbread

Just to say I wish ye all a fantastic Christmas and New Year. You people rock and its just great having ye in my life. It has enhanced it so much. Thanks for that. X.
Love & Peace to you all.

Can anyone explain to me why it is worthy of a headline that the PM quoted the Bible in a Christmas address?

Because politicians are usually loathe to cite religious references in case they offend atheists and risk losing votes of the liberal elite?

Sad reflection I think.
Most people I know who are not Christian are very happy to celebrate with us the festival as part of our religion.
Blooming PC nonsense!

Ah ha!
Wasn't sure if it was that or a charitible venture.
I have been to a similar thing is the US for Thanksgiving. There were a couple of Americans there whose family were far away. One of them asked where I was from and, on hearing I came from Northern Ireland, complimented me on my excellent English!
The Canadians in the room almost choked on their turkey!!!

Evening folks
Just dropping in to wish you all a wonderful Christmas. It's currently chaos in the Ozzy household, with very excited children and an even more excited me.
Thanks for a fun year everyone, and in case I don't manage to pop in again, have a great day tomorrow, and I hope Father Christmas brings you all everything that you've asked for.
Peace
