- Spoiler:
Ollie Lindsay-Hague put on a masterclass of open field running as Harlequins A ran riot to beat Saracens Storm 37-12 in the Aviva A League Final at the Stoop.
The 22-year-old full-back scored two and was virtually unstoppable all evening as Sarries failed to deal with Quins' potent combination of pace and power.
In a formidable display Lindsay-Hague and Darryl Marfo grabbed two tries apiece, with Charlie Matthews also going over.
Ben Ransom and Nick Tompkins went over in response for Sarries but they were well-beaten in front of a vociferous Quins crowd.
It didn't look as though Quins would have it all their own way early on as Sarries forced two early penalties, but Nils Mordt was off-target with both.
Quins had the first genuine chance of a try when Ben Botica spread the ball wide the Miles Mantella, the England sevens star chipped over the top but was just beaten by the ball.
However from the resulting five-metre scrum Quins showed their power, shoving the Storm pack backwards, before spreading the ball for Lindsay-Hague to dance his way over. Botica's conversion bounced away off the post to leave the score at 5-0 after ten minutes.
Quins piled on the pressure and at this stage it looked a matter of when rather than if they would score again, with Lindsay-Hague being stopped just short after another mesmerising break.
But when Mordt's kick was charged down off the back of a Sarries' scrum Marfo was on hand to bundle over. Botica made the touchline conversion to open his account for the evening and make it 12-0.
The moment of the first half then came with five minutes remaining before the break as Lindsay-Hague split the Sarries defence from deep with a sensational run, to rapturous applause from the Quins first-teamers on the sidelines.
Although he was stopped, a powerful Quins maul set up Marfo's second try to extend the lead to 17-0 at the break.
Saracens needed to start the second half quickly, and they did exactly that with their first real attack of the game.
After a good half-break from Duncan Taylor they built through the phases before James Short released Ransom to go over in the corner. Mordt's conversion curled just wide.
The visitors looked a different team but were out of the blocks too quickly on the next Quins attack, Botica punishing them from 40 metres out straight in front and when Sarries were again penalised, this time for not rolling away, Botica was on target once more to extend the lead to 23-5.
Sarries looked like they would get their second try as they piled on the pressure in the Quins 22, before another intervention from Lindsay-Hague, this time intercepting the ball as Sarries spread it wide on the Quins five-metre line.
But where Sarries fell short, Quins were not going to do the same, with another monster driving maul allowing Matthews to go over for their fourth try, Botica slipped with his conversion but the ball sailed through the posts regardless.
And after another Sarries attack had broken down it was again Lindsay-Hague, the star of the show on the night, who produced a couple of sensational sidesteps to go under the posts. Botica's conversion made it 37-5.
Saracens hit back with a second try - replacement Nick Tompkins stretching over after a period of possession in Quins territory but it was too little too late.
