You named most of the NH guys! Very good players from last season or have potential. So difficult to look at players down South, great players come crop up every year!

You only get one anyway. No problem in naming loads, I was going to go for Maitland as a sneaky one - but I have changed my mind since!

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
I reckon big Ben would be a good shout. Build up from the front IMO. Although I'm tempted with him. Only other thing is that as you may as well know there is a bit of step down from Hodgson in your reserves.
Not sure who I'd go for yet!

Yeah, that's my worry with 10, is that if Hodgson gets injured (luckily unlikely for a bit, hopefully long enough to get another bid/trade), my 10 options are either very young (Stanley/Leonard) or out of position (Goode, Parra)

Yeah, there are quite a few TH's around, so a missing out now wouldn't hurt you in the future. Who would you go for at 10/12?

Lealiifano is a talent, but if Sexton goes (as is almost certain) from Leinster, Madigan will be the 1st choice there, and Botica is really looking the real deal as Nev JR at Quins

Botica looks well flakey, should have stayed in the French D2.
Hasn't Anscombe been dropped by the Blues?

Other Quins fans I've met. Good runner, passer and kicker (certainly for points where he has missed, what, a couple of kicks so far if that?) and that makes the package, doesn't it?

Well, hopefully he'll get a chance in the AP to prove you wrong (whilst Nev leads the ultimately doomed charge at the HEC)

Corbs injured again! Seriously worried about his knee condition at such a young age. Think we might have another Tom Rees on our hands. Reckon it's a safe bet he retires before the next WC. Such a shame, really talented scrummager.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
He's not injured it was just surgery to fix an issue.
Saints are taking a risk but they must know what they're doing.
Rumours are he'll move to TH in the future.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
It's a degenaritive knee injury condition though isn't it? Means it will need serious managing and some luck. Did hear about the TH move, would be good for England, but don't know enough about fat boys play to know if that might actually help him out. Also, there haven't been many props who converted sides and been as good or better. Coonie gone downhill, Stevens a terrible LH etc.

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
Corbs used to play a fair bit at TH at Irish at the start of his career did he not? Always been a better LH though, and of course with 23 man squad it's less important to have guys who can cover both sides of the scrum.
As I read it, he had surgery to "clean out" his knee, as there were bits floating around in it which weren't supposed to be. Don't know if anyone on here follows cricket, but sounds like a similar condition to what Graeme Swann has with his elbow, and he's needing to be carefully managed at the moment. With careful management I imagine Corbs will still be able to play a fair bit of rugby, but I worry that things like WCs where you're playing quite a lot in a short space of time will be difficult for him.

We were on a leaving do in London from 1pm, feeling it.
Got the last train in at 2am and had to run the 3 mile home because there was no taxis.
