Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
You'd have Caldwell in your World XV
Thats why good EQ are gold dust, it's been said throughout the game. Very very important to deal well with your EQ.
You're let down a little by the fact non of your EQ are current Ints so 4 of your starters are non Int players which can be hard when teams are at full strength.
You have great EQ depth but you just a few of those to really step up imo.

Yeah, Bath not blessed with great EQ in real life, that's been my issue. Favours those with good academies from the start. I've tried really hard by taking punts on Tomascyuk and Rob Cook and dealt to get Clegg, Daly and Beaumont

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
Similar issues in other game. I had Falcons and they've produced little over the years whilst Saints, Sarries, Wasps, Gloucester have some great youngsters.
Bath are ok, they've had some good youngsters come through lately but they don't seem to thit the next level.
It's hard to level up without taking away academies and having a pool but takes a bit of heart from the game

So long as Harden, Stooke, Mills, Robson, Trinder and May kick on like Burns has I'll be fine.
Rob Cook's quickly becoming one of my fav Glos players to watch, always liked him down at Pirates too, him and Phil Burgess who I honestly thought would have been signed IRL by an a.p team by now.

I'm going to be looking at two windows/signing around the 6N as sides seem very well stocked in cash.
I'm imagining 1 signing and 1 available till the summer so everybody gets the chance to make signings.
Get your predictions in and your thinking caps on where to improve

Probably the best set of youngsters on this game mate. I've got a couple to watch out for coming through:
Skuse - Physical backrower getting some good AP gametime
Cook - Quick scrummy with a great pass off both hands. Might be #1 if Classens goes to Toulon as expected
Spencer - Lock rated highly by Grewcock, but arrival of Day has pushed him back
Devoto - Big tall FH, been playing FB for us as we look to integrate him
Mosses - rapid OC/wing
P-Newport - big TH, solid scrummager, impressed at Leeds last year
Along with more established names of Chisholm, Woodburn, Daly, Eastmond, Catt, Ovens, Mercer
Any chance of another low key foreign draft? The likes of AJ, Payne, Mostert are all great squad players. Maybe a signing that has some sort of restriction, just to make it a bit more fun.

Maybe have 1 forgein and 1 draft signing over 6 nations? Instead of the 2 forgein's?

What about 1 of the foreigns having to be uncapped? Thus they'd be slightly cheaper as well

13???
You've got Tindall Trinder and May, as well as JSD and Roberts as back ups! One of your stronger areas I'd say.

Injuries are up:
https://www.606v2.com/t22281-injuries#1789312
Start after this weekend.
As a new idea I'm going to introduce medical jokers.
You will be allowed 1 medical joker application. You will be given 3 options at varying price ranges and will cover you for the amount of time the injured player is out for.
I'll create the Medical Joker page this morning and will respond as needed.

As things stand with the updated tables
Heineken Seedings;
1. Clermont Auvergne (23pts)
2. Leicester Tigers (23pts)
3. Ulster (22pts)
4. Gloucester (21pts)
5. Northampton Saints (20pts)
6. Toulon (20pts)
7. Toulouse (19pts)
8. Leinster (15pts)
9. Montpellier (15pts)
10. Racing Metro 92 (12pts)
11. Castres (12pts)
Amlin Seedings
1. Saracens (25pts)
2. Harlequins (24pts)
3. Sale Sharks (23pts)
4. London Welsh (22pts)
5. Worcester Warriors (19pts)
So that would give us quarter finals for the Heino;
Clermont Auvergne vs Leinster
Leicester Tigers vs Toulouse
Ulster vs Toulon
Gloucester vs Northampton Saints
and in the Amlin;
Saracens vs Worcester Warriors
Harlequins vs Montpellier
Sale Sharks vs Racing Metro 92
London Welsh vs Castres

Tons...
Where do I find a league table? Is that one above current?
How come I don't have HC/Amlin games, did I not qualify?
How do I go about replacing some weaker players?

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
league table, there's a link if you go to the main menu
yep, you didn't qualify last season, but you've got a much stronger squad this year and will be in contention definitely. theres the LV cup as well
you can trade your players with anyone else in the game, just propose a deal on their team page. if you really want to, you can list some players on here that are available, that might encourage people to bid.
we've got a signing window coming up, where you can buy whoever you want who isn't in a squad.
in general, EQ players are important, as you need 5 in every xv and 10 for euro games
i'm the Bath manager, feel free to leave a bid on my page, i'm looking to freshen up my squad a bit
take note of your injuries though

Re: Fantasy Aviva Season 1 - Homepage
We've played euro games as well. Heres the Heino link for example
https://www.606v2.com/t36272-heineken-cuppools
If you look at the main menu, you'll see teams, as well as Aviva round 12, Heineken round 6 etc. Those are the fixtures and results for each set of games.
We follow the real life schedule of all tournaments, but the only difference is that our fantasy top 6 get the euro spots taken by the real prem spots. So in this case, Bath quite possibly got the Exeter spot, as I finished 3rd in the league
