You mean the house started off by Frank Riijkaard Whistle he started off down the short passing 4-3-3 route Pep just followed on

Riijkaard started for formation, Guardiola actually put the players in the right positions to play it so effectively.

It was Riijkard who brought players like Deco, Ronaldinho and Ibrahimovic into the side, and they weren't winning very much until Guardiola got rid of the ego's and did it his way.

Well he won the CL, La Liga and a Cup doesn't exactly seem like he did badly..... and Afro is correct Pep did buy Ibra for a ridiculous amount

It was officially put back a week due to injury, but conveniently he's now there until after the playoff dates (which is optimistic but still). Jimmy Spencer from Huddersfield.

Still waiting on Kyle McFadzean going to Bristol City, the only thing stopping the move is Bristol City being tight on the fee. Peterborough offered £900k last January and were turned down, now Bristol City think they can only offer £500k!

With those two forwards, I'd be tempted to get wingers who are more likely to get to the byeline and put crosses in

Wellington by all accounts is pretty unremarkable. Tim Vickery said so at least.

Vaz Te isn't Prem level. Every now and then he'll do something good, but I think he's as surprised as the rest of us when it happens.

That statement proves why Andy Townsend is a pants commentator/pundit. Aaron Wilbraham could have scored that

Let alone the fact he almost went past the ball with the slide.

Not bitter.

We're playing reasonably well, we just have no actual goal threat.

Benteke took Lukaku's place in the team, Some they've not played together much. And they're also very similar players, which is a risk.

I'd tend to agree, playing them as a proper front two would be better than one behind the other though.
