We've seen Freddy vs Jason.......In ..Time after Time.. H.G Wells took on Jack the ripper with the help of his Time machine...We've had Alien v Predator......Sherlock Holmes has battled The ripper more than once!!

Any strange matchups you'd like to see........After all they are running out of ideas in Hollywood these days!!

It was definitely a comic book mini-series. Well, being picky, I think the title was "Robocop v The Terminator".

I made the observation to a friend recently that "Cowboys and Aliens" is notable for reuniting Indiana Jones and James Bond for the first time since "Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade"...

In a similar vein, I think I commented on a separate thread that one of the attractions of Chris Nolan's "The Prestige" is to see Batman v Wolverine.

Adam Sandler v the Nazi's defending Omaha beach in Saving Private Ryan. On his own and wearing fluorescent clothing and carrying a small pen-knife.

Imagine if Sandler was actually with you at Omaha beach..In the boat doing his irritating putrid stuff..

The machine gun would seem like a welcome relief...
