Boxing 606v2 Shout Out
Here's a link to one of the most respected youtube predictors, Twitter informers, bloggers, podcast kings and general die hard boxing fans around today. Wingy loves boxing, knows boxing, enjoys boxing and goes to the big UK fights.
A true legend, IMO.
Anyway, here's a shout out for Boxing 606v2. He's a fan of the site.
ukwingchunstudent, aka wingy (youtube & twitter names) did a really good interview for the board last year.
Nice to get a holla back from the man.

Gotta love Wingy. Liked his scoring of the Pac-Bradley fight too: even at his most generous he couldn't find more than 4 rounds to give Tim and were being even-handed only gave him 2
Very different to our poster-of-the-year hero on here......

Ha! TopHat, you ol' dog.
Have to admit (and have said before) that, when I rewatched the Bradley-Pacquiao fight, I did realise that I'd had something of a judging off night first time out, and did have Pacquiao up by a couple at the end. Not sure if I was ultra-tired or something upon first watching it, but I accept that my initial scoring, which had it to Bradley by a point, was off-base.
But, yes.....I dropped a clanger first time out!
Still don't think Pacquiao won it as conclusively as most others do, mind you, but that's another story.....

No worries, mate!
To be honest, I've never been so out of synch with just about every other living soul on the subject of scoring a fight before, so kind of suspected at the time that something was amiss with how I'd seen it. It's all the more confusing that I initially scored it like that because I actually predicted that Pacquiao would give Bradley an absolute tanning, too!
Having seen it twice more since, I had Pacquiao by two and then three points, and I think my error on the night was being 'conned' by some of Bradley's jabbing. He was looking fairly good at range and sticking it out there, but on reflection so many of them were arm punches and too amateurish to win him that fight.
I still think that Pacquiao, having dominated the middle stages, did coast and drop off a little in the final quarter of the fight, allowing Bradley to scoop up those rounds and make it closer than it needed be (I thought that on the night too, but didn't have Pacquiao quite so far ahead before his engine began slowing down), but it was a highly unfortunate decision when all's said and done.

Best thing to do Chris is download VLC player then slow down the action. Although once youve done so, you need to give the judges more leeway because they arent seeing what you are.

Trouble is, if you do that you'll see Pacman misses *a lot* of his punches despite the shrieking HBO judges cheering him on in the background.

That was my point at the time, Tim's punches were not 'effective' in my opinion, they were just arm punches landing on Manny's gloves and forearms. Manny definitely threw away the final rounds though, I think maybe he got cocky and after 8 assumed he'd won them all so put little into the last 4. If it'd been a WBC fight where they announce the scores after the 8th I'm sure the result would've been totally different.
