Super Bowl discussion thread!
First topic message reminder :
I'm predicting an easy 49ers win. They are just too good for the Ravens imo

That was the big disappointment that it took so long before they 'got going'.GSC wrote:To be fair they also played lights out in the first half and until the lights literally did go out.

Considering Ngata was out of the game as well, I was sure they would run it

Just saw some other horrible calls, clear holding on the safety the Ravens took late, and Bruce Miller was also blatantly held on the kickoff return for the TD. Most calls wrongly went the Ravens way but the 49ers deserve to lose for not showing up in the first half, especially the D

1 way of looking at it, another is the Ravens had to go an hour and a half between offensive snaps. Think the notion of the 49ers can just turn it on is a little insulting to the Ravens who were worthy champions.

Was a good game with a slightly surprising result, in a way glad the Ravens won because the power outage thing would have spoilt any comeback. Not sure Flacco really deserved MVP but not much of a surprise that it goes to the QB.

Ravens were worthy winners, I was on the verge of going to bed when the lights went out, glad I stayed up though.
Kaepernick looked like a rookie in the first half, but I have every confidence that he can lead us back to another Super Bowl. I have seen a few comments that this is a deep safety draft, and we definitely need one
Flacco looked great, and Boldin made some great catches.
I wonder if Jim Harbaugh will regret not letting Kaep run it when we had first and goal at the end

So, according to Brandon Ayanbadejo, the thing that put the Ravens over the top this year and carried them to success was....... love. According to him, "This Ravens team is a love story".
