Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
First topic message reminder :
Managers may make 5 FT enquiries per week, starting at 0900 every Monday morning. The exception to this will be the end of the season, where additional FT enquiries will be granted.
FT enquiries, once made, can continue throughout the week until a deal is agreed. If however a FT enquiry is refused, please do not re-bid – a refusal will not be reconsidered regardless of the bid amount.
FT enquiries should be realistic, therefore we require a legitimate source – the more the merrier – to be convinced that your bid would be successful in real life. The current legitimate source list is currently as follows:
The Guardian
The Telegraph
The Times
Daily Mail
BBC Sport
Sky Sports
The current list of sources NOT accepted is currently: The Mirror, The Sun, Daily Express, Talksport, Daily Star, Metro, Bleacher Report, Trival Football, Caught Offside, Goal, Life’s a Pitch
No players brought in on a Friday may be used for that week’s tactics, as it would allow an unfair advantage for that team.
Players that are brought into the league through FTs are not allowed to be sold within the league for a minimum of 6 league games. This will avoid managers buying players on behalf of ‘smaller’ clubs, then selling them on, leaving a player at a club he would never have agreed to join.

Reading - Bid 2
Iago Aspas
8.3 Million - Meets Release Clause in Contract
Celta Vigo to Reading
Been linked on numerous occasions with multiple sources. We have the funds to match the release clause which was the stumbling block as to why he didn't join Reading in January.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Aiden McGeady
Spartak Moscow to Wigan
£5 million
We are looking for the other winger in our master plan today and mcgeady is that man, Wigan were heavily linked to him in January so we have stumped up the cash now.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Liam Trotter, Millwall
2 Million
Millwall don't have a lot of money and 2 million would be very good for them, for a player they will allow to join the premiership, Brighton did have a bid accepted in the summer for 1 million to 1.5 million but Trotter rejected us because he only wanted to leave Millwall for the premiership. He is a very strong fast center mid and would link up well in the middle with Diame and Nolan.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Last bid of the week (less than half hour before the end of the TP week )
Gareth Barry
Manchester City to Aston Villa
£6m
Gareth has been having a shocking time at the Etihad recently as highlighted in his horror show at Southampton. He's only been playing due to Yaya Toure's recent excursion to the Africa Cup of Nations. He's behind Javi Garcia, James Milner and Jack Rodwell to boot. We would be offering a deal to suit all parties. Gareth gets to return to his old club where he could start afresh and City would not only get a decent fee, they would be able to get him off the wagebill ahead of the Fifa Fair Play Regulations kicking in soon.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Some that have been agreed between us:
El Dios
J.Shelvey - £1m Loan - with £2m option - NOT RIGHT NOW - He's been a crucial part of Liverpool's season so far and I don't think they'd let him leave with Europa League games coming up. Offer was far too low anyhow.
Tom Ince - £2.5m - £7.5m required - Liverpool had £6m turned down, but Blackpool seem keen to sell for a good price so £7.5m is the fee.
Inigo Martinez - £3m - NO - no idea why Sociedad would sell him, as he's an important part of their first team and worth far more than £3m.
Marc Andre ter Stegen - £3m - NO - again, no idea why Moenchengladbach would sell their star player and German international, never mind for such a low price.
Enigma:
Iago Aspas - 8.3 Million - Meets Release Clause in Contract - YES
Marky:
Albert Adomah - £3m - YES
Still waiting to agree on the bid for McGeady and the new ones too.

Nick:
Liam Trotter, £2m - £3.5m required - Millwall aren't that hard up for funds, and he's crucial to their team. Makes no sense to lose him for so little.
Bull:
Rodwell, £1m loan - NO - Barry is in talks to leave City in this league so they can't afford to lose another midfielder.
Sigurdsson, £2m loan - NO - Spurs just bought Holtby because they're short on numbers in midfield, and they've also sold Huddlestone in this league. They too cannot afford to lose another midfielder.

Gareth Barry, £6m - £7.5m required - he's a squad player on a huge salary, and with his form and other players coming back, £7.5m gives City good value. And allows them to blood Rodwell.

if markys is rejected can i sign Rodwell or not as it was rejected due to the barry reason.
Tymoshchuk
Bid: 3m
He's future is shaky at bayern and we could make sure bayern get a good amount of money for him and he gets some where he can play; also with Pepe coming in next season its even more less chance he will get to play with the young guns he will look to bring, Bayern get good money and can use it for when pepe joins. and they get a good amount of money before Tymo becomes a Free Agent.
Luca Marrone
Bid: Loan of 2.5m
gets game time here and will start hence gaining more experience.

Norwich City
Chris Burke
£1 million
Birmingham to Norwich
We would like to make Burke a Norwich player finally. Forest were believed to have a bid rejected in January of around 500K, so we will double that to give Birmingham and the player a good deal

Bull's:
Tymoshchuk, £3m - NO - if he leaves Bayern it'll be to a bigger club than Stoke, especially with his reputation in Eastern Europe. I'd expect a move to a Zenit / Rubin Kazan type club with a huge salary to boot.
Luca Marrone, £2.5m loan fee - £3m loan fee required - he's being used well by Juve and they'd need a good fee to let him out on loan.

Lucas Digne
£5 million
Lille to Wigan
We need a quality left back and would love to give Digne some more exposure, we will not stand in the way when a bigger club comes in for him and thus will put a release clause of £7.5 million

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
No idea why Man C would sell Barry - when he has started most games for them this year.
On Martinez - Socidad are due to be massively fined due to Doping allegations and owners wants to cash in atm
Gladbach as struggling massively and after re-investing badly owner is actually looking to sell to make up money they will lose in the league.
2 caps - 8 goals conceded hardly a seasoned international.
Oh well - this league loans out players like Lescott - but not Shelvey

Loan bid for Scott Sinclair from Man City
Full season
4m
Option to buy at the end, willing to pay 10m+
No good sitting on the bench at City. He'll get game time at QPR which is what he drastically needs if he is to fulfill his true potential.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Ettiene Capoue - £7.2m
The player has been linked with us and we are willing to make a great offer to land the midfielder. Toulouse are in the bottom half of the French league and the French players are doing well in the Premier League at the moment. Despite interest from other clubs, there have been bids from clubs smaller than ourselves such as West Ham and QPR. He is interested in a London move.

Nikita Jelavic - £6m
Not getting games for Everton at the moment and despite a good start has had a real slump. He hasn't scored since early December and would benefit with getting first team football at Fulham which he isn't getting at the moment, being stuck behind Anichebe to help him with his international side, having fallen behind Mandzukic this season.

Re: Realistic League - Foreign Transfers
Olly's:
Chris Burke, £1m - £1.5m required - Birmingham turned down £1m during the window, and now that they have the £3.5m for Butland plus the £7.5m for Davies/Redmond they don't really need to sell so cheaply.
Gregers:
Lucas Digne, Lille to Wigan, £5m - NO - He's an integral part of their team and I don't think they'd sell him.
Bull:
Landon Donovan, LA Galaxy to Stoke, £3m - NO - he's currently on a career break to rekindle his love for football. So he won't be going anywhere.
Enigma:
Stoppila Sunzu, TP Mazembe To Reading, £2.5m - YES
El Dios:
Alex Buttner, United to West Brom, £3.5m loan fee with £4m option - £3.5m loan with £5m option required
I think United would be happy to sell, but to recoup their outlay.
Olly:
Will Buckley, Brighton to Norwich, £2.5m - £3.5m required
Liam:
Scott Sinclair, Man City to QPR, 4m loan fee with £10m option to buy - YES
I think Mancini would accept this offer, as Sinclair has done nothing for City and this would give them profit.
