Munster V Edinburgh
First topic message reminder :
No one has created a thread on this (probably because no one cares!) so thought I might as well!
If things aren't bad enough for us Scottish rugby fans, likely to be drowning our sorrows on Saturday night, those that are Edinburgh fans are faced with their team playing games again!
We played Munster 2s at the start of the season and lost to them, so suspect this will be the same again considering we've only won 4 games all season.

On paper that is a strong pack and a bit of an experimental backline to say the least but you just don'w know what will happen with this team anymore. Gutting that Ross Rennie still isn't fit (When will the SRU ever tell us when he is going to play again??) and we are starting to look short at 7 with Roddy Grant ruled out for the season. Very young tighthead on the bench too.
Munster

Re: Munster V Edinburgh
He might be good at 7's, it could suit his chaotic coaching style.
I wouldn't like to think that the womens game would get lumbered with him simply because he isn't good enough to coach the men. They deserve better.
He's quite likeable at press conferences and strikes me as someone who'd be good at self-promotion, so who knows where he'll end up. I'd personally like to see him replace Stuart Lancaster.....

Re: Munster V Edinburgh
Bradley was never viewed as the saviour. The concensus after last season was that he was on a shoogly peg due to the appalling league form, when he and some of the players openly admitted to the scotsman that he didnt really care about the league. There was outcry about that and rightly so (why should we pay £20 (now £25) to come to a game that the staff dont care about?), and suddenly the tune changed and it was all about how we were going to fight on both fronts this season, and in the end we havent fought on either.

To remind ourselves when Bradley's time is up (assuming he doesnt get sacked prematurely), bookmark this website and check it every couple of hours.

Re: Munster V Edinburgh
I wonder how much it would cost to sack him now. I'd certainly raid the piggy bank to pay for it!
The players couldn't actually do worse without any coaching at all. I mean that. How can you be worse than getting spanked every match!!?
I'm going on Friday. I must be insane!

Makes Visser's scoring record all the more incredible when you consider the excrement Edinburgh have plopped into the pitch all season.
Chalmers, Eddie O'Sullivan, Kenny Murray - all of them would do a much better job. There's no way in the world that Bradley can survive. The McBumfertie Malkie is imminent. They'll deliver it in the board room over a nice 20 year old Macallen.

Re: Munster V Edinburgh
I really don't think me and the missus can justify spending 40 quid to go and see Edinburgh lose when we've just shelled out 200 quid on all the Scotland games!
I'll of course be entering all the free ticket giveaways though...!

Re: Munster V Edinburgh
I've given up this season, I find it really hard to get excited about going to watch the team anymore so haven't been to a game in a while.
The thing that has really done it for me is that I don't see the NSQ players who have come in, being better than the SQ players we have (this doesn't apply to all granted, but to the majority). If we were losing each week (like we are) but we were developing young Scottish players for the future, I could almost live with that because there is a long term goal that hopefully will see benefits. The current plan however seems to be oust everyone who sounds or looks a bit Scottish in favour of players who are coming to the end of their careers or of the quality that other teams would have them as back up to their first team. Even if the NSQ players coming in were actually decent that would be a different matter, but they're not, or at least they're not showing it.
Whoever has been signing these players needs to be asked some serious questions, because there is no clear plan here. If it is indeed Bradley then I can only assume that either Edinburgh or Scotland has offended him greatly in some way and he's now out for revenge.

I'd rather they fired it at his face using a supersoaker full of rat's urine personally.
