First topic message reminder :

I agree Digs - what I was commenting on was not their lack of invention, but their lack of cohesion. They did not get the basics right, the least a back has to do is commit his opposite number, which becomes more important against the 'drift' defence, and then follow up and support. This was not happening yesterday, apart from Chris ashton on occasions.

I have not seen Goode play in his club matches, but on a number of occasions, he caught the ball deep, began to run, hesitated and then was caught without any support. I can't remember ever seeing Ben Foden caught like that. It is yet another sign of a lack of cohesion in the backs.

Of course, this probably is all due to the fact they are a relatively new squad and should come together the more they play together. But on the face of it, I think yesterday was a fair showing against a team that in my opinion is still there to be taken and will possibly only get one win in this series.

barragan, actually the calculations seem to be correct. Other reports I read were saying that the big asteroid had indeed passed as predicted at ~17,000 miles away (which is still terribly close, remember that all the geostationary satelites are somewhere ~22,000miles, so it passed inside the satellite belt). These were just some 'small' meteorites which they reckon accompanied the big one...

Some more videos emerging..

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMBm7W2ndls

And here's the place of impact!! Serious stuff, considering this was just a 'small' one...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p186Hhk-yb0

EDIT: that last clip with the 'place of impact' needs to be confirmed at least judging by some of the comments...

Correction, I missread some of those reports, BBC just confirmed that the big one is actually due to pass/miss the Earth tonight, so let's hope all those calculations will prove to be correct... Smile

According to some news sources today Tiger and Elin may be getting re-married. And there will be a £230 million anti-cheating clause to guarantee his fidelity!

I suppose she's guaranteed to get another massive windfall so maybe not that stupid, although she will have to tolerate simulated strangling, and Woods notoriously small and ineffective boaby as well as the indignity of having to sleep with a nine chinned baldy.

On a serious note

I think is sad. Because he cant love her can he, i doubt she loves him.

If this was a story of him changing his ways and all that and he really did love her- then fair play..

But i have this odd feeling they wont be able to communicate.. let alone anything else!!

Tiger seems slightly autistic to me! He needs to find someone on his own level!

There is just no fun in his life. Its dry!

I doubt he has ever had a friend.. He cant make them. His wife is clearly just there for the dollar, he cant gel in the ryder cup.. He never laughs. he only shows scary passion..

I think yes he has a personality disorder. maybe thats needed to get so good. I dunno

I didnt realise 99% of the time got in!

I quite fancy another pop at TOC actually, the only time I played it (4 and a half years ago) it was blowing an absolute hoolie and chucking it down (well more across actually). I remember the relief of going in a pot bunker...my only thought was aaahh shelter!!

Depends how fussy you are about the time. I think Tour Operators can get times, but I doubt they can specify. It is a "public" course.

On a slightly different subject, just musing over the finer points of next months birthday trip....how have "the triangle's" finest establishments fared through the recession?? have they managed to survive? Never been to any of them super. Stripping seems a little tame after you have dredged the depths of internet porn. It is all about the barely legal hermaphrodite canine anal domination, with the odd bit of incest scat, for me these days.
