First topic message reminder :

I agree Digs - what I was commenting on was not their lack of invention, but their lack of cohesion. They did not get the basics right, the least a back has to do is commit his opposite number, which becomes more important against the 'drift' defence, and then follow up and support. This was not happening yesterday, apart from Chris ashton on occasions.

I have not seen Goode play in his club matches, but on a number of occasions, he caught the ball deep, began to run, hesitated and then was caught without any support. I can't remember ever seeing Ben Foden caught like that. It is yet another sign of a lack of cohesion in the backs.

Of course, this probably is all due to the fact they are a relatively new squad and should come together the more they play together. But on the face of it, I think yesterday was a fair showing against a team that in my opinion is still there to be taken and will possibly only get one win in this series.

Claudia winkelman ( similar vane to davina) ...subjected to radio 2 most days at work.
Come to think of it Ken Bruce, Jeremy Vine and Steve Wright are pretty damn annoying too. The radio 2 presenters jingles really really annoy me.

I was watching mysti, some really very terrible conditions. No just the rain but also the wind. Lewis did well to set a top ten time after damaging his rear wing in that spin.

The fact the red bull lost its advantage in the wet would suggest much of that advantage came from how it was using the tyre.

Rugby time .Unfortunately I have a feeling the pitch in wales will as usual be hopeless and that will set the tone for the game, slow, problems with the scrum, penalties and the referees opinion. No coincidence wales have been winning away from home.Millenium stadium is excellent but the pitch is a shocker.Should be good viewing though

Damn! Now I've got to put up with the Welsh fans and the fact that Mike Philips was playing for Wales. Pathetic from England. TBH, it's been downhill since Scotland.

England:

Marler - what were you even picked for? Big mistake. Nowhere near good enough in the scrum. I knew that was going to happen!
Youngs - average
Cole - average
Launchbury - average
Parling - average
Croft - anonymous
Wood - not an international #8
Robshaw - massive, but outplayed - difficult when it's 2 against 1 though!
Youngs - average
Farrell - average
Barritt - battled but England's best game came when 36 was @ 12
Tuilagi - worst game for some time
Brown - decent
Goode - defense is about all you've got isn't it? Not good enough
Ashton - nowhere near good enough. Back to your club and let's have a winger please?

Annoyed? Not half!

Oh and Steve Walsh - I feared as much. Not a clue in the scrums.

England were not great today, as for Ireland, probably one of their worst campaigns in recent times...

Fair play to Wales for winning the whole thing, but has to be said, this was one of the most uninspiring 6-nations I've seen in years...

Super, He did not get that from the bible as none of the Abrahamic religions believe in reincarnation. So no matter how much of an issue we have with the bible we cant blame it for that nut job comment. Although clearly it is a religious notion of some sort, i am just not sure which religion.

You are talking about Ken barlow off Corrie right.

That kevin loon just got charged with peodo stuff. Maybe Ken is trying to excuse his mate's behaviour. Which suggests this is some sicko justification. Like he is gods soldier- he is forced into abusing kids.. Its all part of the plan...

True SR.

One Wisdom I have gained through my life is that 'sinners' are actually more likely to become religious later on in life as a way to excuse there bad behaviour.

They can put it down to gods will. or fate or whatever.

Religion tries to excuse morality by saying it doesn't matter what you do as long as you repent in the end. Disgraceful moral values of religion.
