Didn't realise that it is 5 years since a Scottish club last won a game at Dave Parade (Wighty via Muppet) - puts it all in perspective. Mon the Warriors

Aye Dragons have always been our bogey team - along with Leinster but obviously there are different reasons for that !

Who was that nutter winger that played for the Dragons - DTH and him had a wee at Firhill a few seasons ago - totally overrated but I remember Dragons fans calling for him to get a Wales call up ?

Sorry if It's been mentioned before - but why haven't Glasgow got a shirt sponser?
Be interested in seeing how gerwyn goes for Glasgow - also looking forward to seeing Bennett playing. Heard a lot about him on here, but never seen him play.

Sweet try from the boy Nico - lucky bounce, to be sure, but we'll take it.

Don't know how strong the Dragons scrum is but Welsh looks a hell of a lot better at 3 than Cross does. I'd like him to go straight in to the squad for the Ireland game on this showing.

Dragons are a funny old outfit to watch. Individually the majority of their players look skilled, fit, quite quick and competent.
They just seem to have perfected the art of doing all the wrong things at all the wrong times.
Car crash rugby.

Great finish by Paris. Dunbar has to remain at 12 now surely no more swapping to 13.

Sounds like a coaching issue, how come there are three Welsh coaches in the Aviva Premiership doing reasonably well yet the Regions seem to be awful? The Welsh need to introduce similar rules to the English when it comes to playing for Wales?

Re: N-G Dragons vs Glasgow Warriors
Swinson gets a 2nd try and that's Glasgow's 7th try and they've broken the 50 point mark

Very impressed with Glasgow. They've patiently & systematicaly took the Welsh to pieces. Dragons had nothing in the tin to bring out.

Re: N-G Dragons vs Glasgow Warriors
Even more impressively, Glasgow could play another complete competitive XV:
1. Grant
2. Hall
3. Cusack
4. Kellock
5. Campbell
6. Harley
7. Fusaro
8. Ashe
9. Cusiter
10. Jackson
11. Lamont
12. Horne
13. Lamont
14. Maitland
15. Hogg
1. Grant
2. Hall
3. Cusack
4. Kellock
5. Campbell
6. Harley
7. Fusaro
8. Ashe
9. Cusiter
10. Jackson
11. Lamont
12. Horne
13. Lamont
14. Maitland
15. Hogg

Re: N-G Dragons vs Glasgow Warriors
Followed the game on Twitter, seemed to be a combination of Glasgow being very good and the Dragons being completely useless. Sounds like Dunbar had a very good game, I really feel he plays all his best rugby at 12. Also glad for some of the guys who have been on the fringes: Bennett, Paris and Thomson getting a run out and a good win.

Coach is an ex London Irish player I think - one of the Dragons fans will know. Excellent point though. If we had any rules/plans in Wales we could probably save a ton of cash by paying four Kiwis/Aussies/Saffers to coach the regions. The talent is there but the Dragons were playing like it was the first time they'd ever seen a rugby ball. And weren't sure about any of the rules.

Re: N-G Dragons vs Glasgow Warriors
Bugger me sideways! Just back from uni and caught the last try. What a ridiculous score line! I never dreamed Glasgow would win by that much away to dragons, thought it might be a tight game. Fair play though, that is a crazy score. Will have to watch full game once up on Iplayer. Well done Glasgow!!
Bad luck dragons fans, hope wru sort their s**t out with regions.

He played very well and linked well with Dunbar and Bennett, surely we've got to be looking this side for the rest of the season:
1. Grant
2. MacArthur
3. Low
4. Swinson
5. Kellock
6. Harley
7. Barclay/ Fusaro
8. Strauss/ Wilson
9. Cusiter/ Matawalu/ Pyrgos
10. Weir/ Jackson
11. VDM
12. Dunbar
13. Bennett
14. Maitland
15. Hogg
16. Welsh
17. Hall
18. Cusack
19. Ryder
20. Any of the Back rows not playing
21. Any of the scrum halves
22. Weir/ Jackson
23. Any of the Lamonts, Seymour, Horne, Morrison, etc.
The Glasgow squad is looking very strong and very competitive, if this side can be kept together we could be looking at competing in Europe in 4-5 years.

Re: N-G Dragons vs Glasgow Warriors
Very depressing even though I wanted the jocks to win and I couldn't believe my eyes when Gerwyn Price came on as a replacement for Glasgow, so I did a google and found this;
"CROSS Keys director of rugby Jonathan Westwood has slammed the Newport Gwent Dragons for allowing home-grown talent like Gerwyn Price to slip through the net."
If we can't keep players like him in Wales then we really are in trouble.

Matawalu has to be on the field somewhere - he makes things happen anywhere and everywhere. Dunbar MoM although Swinson and Barclay and Mata could have had it too. Wee Meatball back to his lethal best too

Bloody hell Numbers, it's sickening how much talent we've got at the moment.
That team will make a VERY strong challenge in the playoffs.
