Murali had played a lot before the noughties, and Harbajhan's best work was in the noughties..also have warne in there.

This is the 00's not till now. Cook averaged low 40's in the 00's.

I did not know that Clem Hill was the first to score 1000 runs in a calendar and that he held the record for 45 years. His Wiki profile makes an enjoyable reading, especially the 'brawl and boycott' section.

He is a famous name in Australian cricket, leff.
They named a grandstand in Adelaide after him (Richie Benaud & Ian Chappell used to always refer to him in their commentary) and he was inducted into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame. I knew he was captain for a short while but ought to do some more reading on him.
