Wales U20s vs Italy U20s
Anyone watching.
Wales wasting no time with a score in the second minute, horrible weather though

Re: Wales U20s vs Italy U20s
Sam Davies' place kicking could really cost the U20s in a close match - lucky Patchell will be available to face England. Perhaps Jordan Williams should be kicking.

Interesting point on the commentary, apparently, if the game is called off after an hour, the result stands.

Waste of a game really, can't imagine anything but the result being valuable.

Re: Wales U20s vs Italy U20s
Welsh scrum is completely in control
Its a penalty try
3 - 19
Considering the conditions, 19 points in 33 minutes is pretty impressive. This U20s team should be looking for the slam against England in the last round - and the forwards look like no walk overs compared to previous U20s matches against England.

606,
Why will Patchell be available then and not now?

Conditions are getting even worse. Wales certainly don't want this called off before 60mins.

The Blues, U20s and Patchell came to the decision so that he would get regional gametime and U20 gametime. He should be available for the Scotland and England games.

Fair one though the U20s have been doing quite well so the coaches may want to show a bit of loyalty if they continue and keep faith in players who have been there from start of tournament.

Evening All.
Well considering the awful conditions, it's been quite an entertaining match so far. Great Welsh scrums. Sounds like the ref might stop the game after 60 minutes though, but I can't say I blame him. I can barely see who's Welsh and who's Italian!

Patchell is a first choice regional player, probably 3rd choice for Wales.
Sam Davies is 3rd choice at the O's and his place kicking has been pretty awful.
I would select Patchell against Scotland and England in a heartbeat. It is about winning.

Don't disagree with you just wonder if they keep winning and Davies' kicking aside would they stick with same team and give Patchell time off the bench.

That pitch is beyond bogging. Still, the game goes on and Italy's kicker misses a penalty opportunity.
3-19 at 43 minutes.

This not the first choice U20 front row either.

Jordan Williams is off, not sure if it is an injury - he hasn't been having the best time under the high ball.

Didn't realise that, I hadn't looked at the team. A Blues THP is a dominant scrum - IT'S A MIRACLE!

Re: Wales U20s vs Italy U20s
Wales - have you seen the score at the Arms Park?
Italy's number 17 has come on and he looks so clean compared to the others. I wonder how long it'll take him to get dirty like the rest?
Wales giving away too many penalties now, and here comes a yellow - Ethan Lewis in the bin.

Re: Wales U20s vs Italy U20s
Patchell might fancy playing in a winning team.
Connnacht scored a try in the 2nd minute, then again in the 5th minute. It's 3 - 12 after 7 in the CAP.
Yellow card for Wales, that not what they wanted at all.

It's not being televised Bluesman. You might get radio coverage somewhere or failing that you can follow live updates on the P-12 website.

Your shoite.
Nah seriously though, the blues are dire this season, my old man is a die hard fan and he will not even pay to see them, he reckons the rugby on show is just not worth the money.

More than that, the last Blues game televised was the away toulon game in the HC.
The Sale HC game, 2 LV games and now 3 Pro12 games havent been televised.
Not good for someone who can't go to the CAP.
The next televised game is on the 23rd of March!

Re: Wales U20s vs Italy U20s
I think it's just the way the fixtures are divided between the TV companies involved which matches get shown. The Dragons game won't be televised either and the Scarlets game is only on TG4.
And there's the Italian try. 10-19 at 60 minutes. OK you can stop the game now ref!
