32 teams in 32 days: Setatel Saehwks
Record: 11-5
Offensive Rank: 17th (Passing: 27th, Rushing: 3rd)
Defensive Rank: 4th (Passing: 6th, Rushing: 10th)
What went right?
Lynch anchored the offense for most of the season. Wilson came on down the stretch. Secondary was a tough proposition. Sherman managed to get out of his suspension on a technicality just before the playoffs.
What went badly?
Wilson being useless the first half of the year gave Seattle too much to do to chase a bye. Without Chris Clemons the defense struggled, Bruce Irvin being useless in reserve.
Prospects for 2013?
Seattle figures to push SF in the West, however more work is needed to catch up to the more complete roster in SF. More offensive weapons are needed around Wilson if he is to push this team further than they went in 2012.
Projected 2013 Draft pick?
Could use an offensive weapon, no WRs in play here however. Could improve on Browner but seems unlikely at this pick, so Seattle follows a recent trend and takes Tyler Eifert to get a versatile weapon at TE.

we demolished them 42-13 last time we played them, the division is closer than people thinkSeattle figures to push SF in the West, however more work is needed to catch up to the more complete roster in SF.

Finished?
Plenty of pass rushers and DTs, and considering the leo scheme, after Irvin in the first I doubt the Seahawks go that way again. Miller is decent but not particularly good by any means, and the trend in the NFL is towards 2 TE sets, expose the mismatches.
And SF beat you, won the NFC West and went to the SB. They remain the better team.

They were in the SB, won the NFC West, and hell, managed to beat Atlanta in the postseason. They are better than you, get over it.

The 2nd loss to the Seahawks could possibly be put down to them knowing they had only to beat Arizona in week 17 to be guaranteed the division.
Beating the Pats in Foxboro took a huge amount of pressure off. They knew they weren't losing to the Cards...

Credit where it is due though - Seattle had a good year and have a good future with this side.
They could do with depth at WR, and if I were them that's where I'd be drafting.

I agree they need a better option at WR, but I think Eifert can do more for them in that regard than any of the receiving options

I think it's clear fro mCherries logic that the Philadelphia Eagles are better than the Baltimore Ravens having beaten the Ravens earlier on in the year.

Zach Miller counts for $11m against the cap this year ($7m and $6m in the next two years). He is a decent TE and played well down the stretch. Hell, he even played the majority of the Falcons game with a foot injury. I don't think he's worth that much money though and with a good Draft class and Free Agent class, they might decide to cut him and save $4m. They don't necessarily need the cap space right now, but there will be a cheaper upgrade this offseason.
I have them taking either a pass rusher or WR in the first, depending on who's available.
