Cian Healy - Excited
I think the question is whether Ireland is excited to play this weekend, sure they are welcoming back Cian Healy after his succesful appeal, but after their miserable performance against scotland, they might not be so eager.
Other news of couse is O'Gara being dropped.

Let's all hope he doesn't dance with excitement on anyone's ankle.

Re: Cian Healy - Excited
Great to see him back in the green jersey. Im sure he will be chomping at the bit to rip into the French.
Sadly though despite the French run of defeats I cant see Ireland winning this match. Too many key injuries and loss of momentum.
key men injured:
Stephen Ferris
Jonny Sexton (unlikely to be back)
Paul O'Connell
Tommy Bowe
Gordan D'arcy
Craig Gilroy (may play)
Simon Zebo
Richardt Strauss
Chris Henry
Mike McCarthy (probably be back)
I fear that list is just too long for a team with small resources like Ireland to cope against the French.

Re: Cian Healy - Excited
We flashmob posted the other Cian thread into lockout mode @999
I don't think this pale imitation will get anywhere near that close.
Anyway, OP:
Good luck Cian on Saturday , enjoy an exciting game, with no red mist Riverdance moments we hope.

Yeah, good luck Cian and keep cool, playing smart rugby is very important against the French as they are wind up merchants and know their way around the Dark Side.
They might target the lad, so he's going to be have to be glacial.
Possibly wear a hawian shirt and wraparound shades for the first few rucks?

The French might retaliate with their very own travail á la Pointe, if they spot any Riverdancing going on. That might excite him.

Re: Cian Healy - Excited
If they go out with the same attitude they did against England they will lose again. If they have their 'Saturday night and the boozer's just closed' head on even a poor French side will give them grief.

This article is a fix and I refuse to contribute to it.
In fact I'm beginning the 'Save Our Cian Healy-cited Thread' (SOCHCT) campaign. All donations welcome.
BTW I predict Healy coming off the bench, then a straight red for punching the ball boy, this weekend.

Why would he do that? The ball boys will be all Irish.
Maybe if we have the Swansea ballboy that lies on the ball like Dan Cole does but thats not going to happen. I think most people agreed that that ballboy deserved a good root in the hole.

Fair enough but if he is going to get sent off Id rather it was for punching Morgan Parra in the balls.

Well in that case he can just say he was aiming for the ball boys.GunsGerms wrote:Biltong wrote:GunsGerms wrote:Barney McGrew did it wrote:This article is a fix and I refuse to contribute to it.

Re: Cian Healy - Excited
In other news it seems England golden boy Owen Farrell escaped a ban for his own bout of "red mist" when he elbowed Parra in the face. Must be because he has an Irish surname.

To be fair, after Healy's 80 minutes ban, they probably felt too embarrassed to suspend Farrell for the 1st 5 minutes of the game. I mean who would kick off?

Dylan Hartley probably, even if he's on the bench.

Re: Cian Healy - Excited
If you get a lengthy ban...the password needed to get it lifted is
"Me? - Sure tis meself, isn't it, that's Irish like me name'n'all and wouldn't lift a finger't'hurt'a'fly, sure??"
You were expecting a single word password from an Irishman?

MacYachvilli?
Probably innocent. 10 minutes ban I'd expect.

All the better to expeditiously speed up the executions, I'd assume. Even execution before the the trial would free up court space to make things run even smoother.

In slow motion you can see he got a grand total of 6 stamps in before he was penalised.
