Wales v England Official Match Thread
First topic message reminder :
It's 5th v 4th in the World Rankings on Sat. and a real opportunity for 1 of these sides to put another marker down in their development - These games now have even greater significance given that we share the same RWC Pool in 2015 - The fact that Wales have won the last 2 meetings between these old foes will count for nothing - It should be Awesome .
Good luck to both teams and both sets of fans

Great try!
This is a fantastic game, very impressed with Wales but England have a steel about them these days, best game I've seen in yonks!

we clearly are, are you actually what you would called a supporter?

We simply don't play fast enough. Our players are old and overcooked. I knew the tight match with Italy wouldn't give them the kick up the a*se!

Nope, well done Wales. Best teams won, just a matter of how much now.
They did. Eng make a mess of it again when it matters.

Cannot help but think how much more damage Foden could have done at 15 with all the ball Goode has been getting.

The unshakable Farrell looks shaken. This is a great match, it's about time there was a match of this quality, there has been a lull since week 1.

We are playing like we're ahead, and defending a lead on the edge of our fingertips! How can we have such a terrible mentality?! Well done on the gifted title Sheepo's!

They're not old, they're just too light-weight. Without Corbs and Morgan we have zero go-forward. This back-row was a terrible pick by SL, I fear we're cursed with ANOTHER coach who picks favourites and shoe-horns them into the team. Two mobile 6s to beat the Welsh's tow mobile 7s at the breakdown - genius Stuart, utter genius. Oh well, the usual cycle of false dawns continues.

Awful performance. As bad at least as the Ireland 2011 game. Utterly inept.

England are finally being shown up as the pretenders they are. That NZ win was a smokescreen. The standard of the 6 nations this year has been generally quite poor yet many have ignored this, eulogising over England in the light of a possible 'Grand slam' - not any more. Wales are executing superbly right now.

yes he needed to break contact before challanging for the ball, penalty could of gone either way though.

We've been found out basically. This team might have a great attitude, but after today I can now see exactly no obvious improvements since MJ. Less attacking potency, poorer set piece and finally, a return to the abject rucking of usual. Gutted we didn't get one of the NZ coaches mentioned at the time.

We've been lucky to come 2nd in this tournament, helped by the fact everyone else (minus Wales) seemed to be absolutely cack against us.

Lovely, boozed up, a smile from ear to ear, England getting stuffed and I really couldn't give a toss about what any of the English whingers on this forum or out on the streets think..... I love it.
(The best of it is, I actually thought England were competing but it must be that we really are that much better!)
