Wales v England Official Match Thread
First topic message reminder :
It's 5th v 4th in the World Rankings on Sat. and a real opportunity for 1 of these sides to put another marker down in their development - These games now have even greater significance given that we share the same RWC Pool in 2015 - The fact that Wales have won the last 2 meetings between these old foes will count for nothing - It should be Awesome .
Good luck to both teams and both sets of fans

Congratulations to Wales for the win, but if any combination of those two sides with the Scottish & Irish is the best the Lions have to offer I honestly don't see a problem for us in facing them this year, particularly in the backs and even with our best player and captain out of the forwards.

Mad for Chelsea wrote:well done Wales, played with incredibly intensity and England just disappeared in the second half. Fully deserved win and tournament
am I though the only one who thought Walsh was very one-eyed throughout? certainly the turnover for the Welsh try should never have stood... also the scrum, seemed to ignore the fact that Cole was dominating Jenkins (mostly) and only focussed on the one side...
No you're not the only one - Wales deserved the win but you have to wonder why the IRB continue to allow Walsh to ref England matches given his history and risk controversy and suggestions of a lack of impartiality - it's not like there aren't plenty of other refs to pick from.

Well done Wales, deserved winners on the day!
Plenty of lessons for England to learn who played poor and unintelligent rugby. First off and most importantly, if you win games by agressively flooding the breakdown, don't swap that for getting just one or two players to barely amble in and stand by. On top of that, you need a proper carrying no.8, an OC who knows when to pass and a proper back 3, in particular a FB who can do more than pass in the first receiver position and knows how to effectively counter with ball in hand rather than doing a silly skip thing that fools no one before getting smashed.
