Should we have NH refs only for Six Nations
Was thinking if the IRB need to allocate only NH refs to the six nations, The games seem to have struggled a bit this year with SH refs, they havent flowed, very stop/start.
Do the NH refs have a bit more understanding of the conditions so they let things go in order to let the game flow?
What do others think?

Nigel Owens should ref every game, Barnes should Ref every scrum and Joubert should never referee again.

We have had some dross. Garces, Joubert, Barnes, Clancy, god it has been appalling to watch.
It's not fair to say its a NH SH thing it is not. Some are very poor others are very good.

The scrum would never happen then, half the time he seems to be daydreaming then just guesses who infringed at the scrum

SIMPLIFY THE EFFIN! LAWS!
Then the refs (and players and we) might have a clue what's going on.
Too many games are effectively a game of pitch and toss.

Alain Rolland does not have a reputation for letting things go. Joubert failed to take control in the scrums and killed the game. The hit in the scrum needs to be made clear as does the breakdown area. A player must keep his feet but sometimes the reality is different. It sounds like you're advocating ruling on the spirit of the laws but where do you need to enforce the strict interpretation of the laws. It's a difficult balance and like the advantage law is largely discretionary and therefore open to variation.

The simplest of laws are ugnored in the scrum, when was the last time you saw the ball being put in right?
How any times have you seen a blatant infringement in front of the ref and its ignored?

Clancy deciding to ignore Nigel Owens advice during England vs Italy was bloody appalling, really irritated me. What's the point in having linesmen if you won't trust their calls?
