First topic message reminder :
Congratulations to Gillingham and Martin "Mad Dog" Allen on promotion. Been trying to get out of the league for so long now and it has finally happened. Back in league one.

As much as i like Aidy Boothroyd and i always like to see poster's on here club doing well, in this case Mocking Jay.
Ill be backing Bradford today. They gave me some great night's in the Carling Cup including that win over Arsenal. Don't think iv'e ever celebrated another club winning as much. Also there dissapointment in the final, i think they deserve it. Also above all, they didn't let there superb cup run distract them from league form, which is something a lot of clubs seem to do. For example Oldham in the FA Cup. So yeah ill be rooting on the mighty bantams today!
Really hope its a great game though

First Blood to Bradford!!!
Superb cross and that was a very clam and well placed header by James Hanson. Bradford been the better side so far.
Northampton need to get Akinfengwa on #BeastMode

2-0 Bradford!!!!
Another superb cross and a bullet header this time from Rory McCardle. Wouldn't criticize the defending, just very good work from Bradford.
Northampton need to sort out there midfield, they can't get a foot on it.

James Hannson and Nikki Wells partnership is superb.
Big strong lad, who can really hold it up and win the headers, along with a lad with bags of talent and pace. The fact that it generally caused some Prem sides this season problems says it all. Phill Parkinson tactics spot on for this one.

3-0 Bradford!!!!
The strike partnership i was talking about worked a treat there. Well finished by Wells, but Northampton defense a bit sleepy there.
Wow they need a goal before half time.

Don't know whether to laugh or cry. Was more excited for this crap than I was for the Europa League final.
Re: End of season league 2 topic
Bradford 3-0 Northampton at half time
The diffrence, is Bradford are trying there complete heart out putting 100% into everything and being rewarded. Northampton have been very lazy and half there team seem to have given up. Don't know if its down to nerves but i would be furious with them if i was a cobblers fan.
Although i want Bradford to win, i would love to see a 4-3 come back for the sheer drama!

Northampton's problem is that they've defended like a pub team

Re: End of season league 2 topic
See i don't think they have, the 3rd goal was pretty poor. But goals 1 and 2 i thought was just good attacking play by Bradford.

Full time, Bradford 3-0 Northampton
Fully deserved win for Bradford. What a superb season for them, Amazing cup run which was beyond anyone's wildest dreams. They didn't allow it to distract them from the league and now they are promoted. Full credit to them and now they need to try and keep hold of Phill Parkinson, can see some sides come in for him.
League one football for Bradford next season. Northampton have had a great season and i recon they can go one better if they keep hold of Boothroyd. But today they just didn't turn up.

Yes they did.
They dropped from 5th around Christmas to 14th in February/March.

Didn't Oldham propel themselves out of the relegation zone alongside there cup run?

'Mocking', you're been a bit disingenuous here. What the very fair minded 'nick..' means is that we dusted ourselves down after our previous Wembley appearance and got more or less 2 points per game from the remaining 14.
In addition, besides ignoring the fact that we had two or three games in hand on our rivals, can you tell me when we dropped to 14th?
One thing is true, the cup run had an affect. Without it we'd had got automatic

So in a way you're saying I'm right then? They did let the cup distract from their league form?
